Shahr has obtained an Executive MBA degree from the
Haskayne School of Business along with a Bachelor's degree in
Communications and Psychology from the University of Calgary
and recently obtained a Ventures certificate from the Ivy
Business School. Her career path has been focused in the
health sector working for various health foundations such as the
Canadian Cancer Society and the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Shahr has extensive knowledge in health care fundraising and
business development working at Alberta Health Services and
the Hotchkiss Brain Institute , Shahr has served in leadership
roles, connecting the philanthropic community to clinicians and
researchers, raising over $30M for various research projects and
hospital departments.
