He later established Route 66 Moving and Storage, serving communities from La Jolla to Del Mar, Encinitas, Carlsbad, Oceanside, Rancho Bernardo, Escondido, San Marcos, Carmel Valley, Poway, and Rancho Santa Fe. The company also handles larger moving and storage needs in Orange County, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.

For the last ten years, Kiryl has also worked in real estate development, building high-end custom homes in Rancho Santa Fe, Del Mar, and La Jolla.

Before entering the real estate industry, he built a successful career as a financial advisor. Michael started by creating his practice, then moved into a leadership role where he guided and mentored other advisors. His deep knowledge of financial planning, investment strategies, and client service continues to influence his work today. Whether working with buyers, sellers, or investors, he brings a client-first approach, prioritizing transparency, education, and long-term success.

He began his professional journey at Equitable Life Insurance as a Financial Advisor. In that role, he worked with over 1,500 households and managed more than $170 million in assets. Petruska provided clients with personalized financial guidance, developed long-term strategies, and executed investment transactions in line with their goals. He also led seminars and workplace events focused on financial literacy, helping others make more informed financial decisions.

In time, Mike Petruska was promoted to Vice President and became part of the Boston leadership team. His responsibilities included recruiting, training, and developing new advisors throughout New England. He helped build a nationally recognized team within the Retirement Benefits Group, and many of the advisors he mentored moved on to take leadership positions themselves. Throughout his financial career, he has advised more than 5,000 clients and managed assets exceeding $450 million.

His professional accomplishments include receiving the Management Development Award in 2021, where he ranked fifth nationwide. Michael was also selected for the NAIFA 4 Under 40 Award and named a Five Star Wealth Manager for four consecutive years from 2018 to 2021. These recognitions reflect his consistent commitment to excellence, client satisfaction, and ethical standards. He remains involved in professional networks that support ongoing development and collaboration.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Bryant University in Rhode Island. While there, he completed internships in both personal and corporate finance. He also participated in Greek life, intramural sports, and lacrosse. He maintains FINRA Series 7, 66, and 24 licenses, in addition to Life, Accident, and Health insurance licenses in multiple states.

Petruska was raised in Bayonne, New Jersey, and graduated from St. Peter’s Prep in Jersey City. He met his wife in college, and they married in 2004. They currently reside in Milford, Massachusetts, with their three children and two French bulldogs, Zoe and Mia. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking with his children, traveling with his family, playing golf, staying active, and spending time outdoors.

He has also contributed to his local community for more than a decade, coaching in the Milford Youth Baseball League and spending three years coaching youth football. In addition, he supports the Pan-Mass Challenge each year, contributing to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund in their mission to fight cancer.
