Za svoj rad dobio je Državnu nagradu za tehničku kulturu 2022. godine, a služi i kao član Upravnog odbora Hrvatskog astronomskog saveza.
Međunarodno priznat zbog svoje predanosti obrazovanju mladih o temama vezanim uz svemir, imenovan je glavnim tajnikom Adriatic Aerospace Association 2021., gdje predvodi nacionalne svemirske obrazovne projekte poput trenutnog projekta Cansat Rocketry.
