Amedeo embraced Kubernetes in 2016 during his Master’s thesis in Computer Engineering at the University of Bologna, where he explored containerization and large-scale cloud-native application deployment. His research work led to publications in international scientific venues including ACM and IEEE.

Since then, the cloud-native ecosystem has been at the core of his professional journey. He focuses on designing scalable, production-grade platforms that combine Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and GitOps principles to enable secure and self-service developer experiences.

A strong advocate of open standards and the CNCF ecosystem, Amedeo has earned multiple certifications from The Linux Foundation, including CKA, CKAD, CKS, KCNA, and KCSA. He is among the first Italians to complete the KubeAstronaut program. He also holds certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect and Elasticsearch Certified Engineer.

He believes Kubernetes is not just a container orchestrator, but a foundational layer for building modern internal developer platforms.
