When and Where: All events are held in Leeds, with exact venues to be announced for each session. Events start at 5:30 PM, with doors open for networking, followed by presentations and discussions.

Cloud computing is already a multi-billion dollar business for Microsoft, and yet Azure is just now hitting its stride. Perhaps you're a long-time MS stack developer wondering "where do I go from here?" Maybe you're a seasoned dev manager or director curious how cloud in general and Azure in particular might fit into your next project. If you're looking for the future of Microsoft on the server and in the enterprise... you've found it! This group caters to all things Microsoft Azure and cloud computing. We'll explore a range of topics in three key areas (in likely order of decreasing frequency):

1. Nuts-and-bolts Azure dev tools, APIs, features, etc... "how to accomplish in Azure"

2. Higher-level topics on cloud computing patterns, architectural best practices, data access strategies, etc. with a focus on applying these in the Microsoft Azure environment

3. Business-oriented topics like cloud economic and pricing models, cloud migration strategies, legal and compliance implications of the cloud, etc.

Ultimately our topic list is determined by the interests of the group members. We meet monthly and vary meeting formats as needed; mostly a 30 minute meet-and-greet followed by a 60-90 minute presentation, but some months we'll do two smaller presentations, we'll even try multiple 15 minute lightning talks if we have sufficient interest. We'll keep things relatively informal... as long as the sessions are relevant and engaging for the audience, that's what matters most. Hope you'll come out and join us!

We are a group dedicated to providing our community with education on SQL data technologies. Any topic related to data, AI, and SQL query languages is welcome.

Our group normally meets Thursday from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM PST.

Jax Data (formerly JSSUG) is a registered non-profit 501 (c) (3) charitable organization providing free technical education relating to the Data Platform surrounding Microsoft SQL Server. Brian Knight founded this group in January 2003 to create a community for database developers and administrators in the Jacksonville area. Jax Data aims to educate, share knowledge, best practices, and network. Today, it is a community focusing on data, development, administration, and business intelligence. Free meetings are open to the public on the third Wednesday of every month. Meetings include presentations, technology announcements, local job opportunities, and quick brainstorming/guidance for users experiencing difficulty.

The Azure Kenya User Group aims to bring together professionals who are passionate about Microsoft Azure and its potential so that they can learn from each other and share experiences.

We run our sessions every second last Wednesday of the month from 8:15 PM to 9:30 PM EAT

Our monthly virtual lunch is around 30 minutes. and can easily accommodate speakers from around the world. Our in-person meetups, we try to arrange once every quarter. Location is Norway. Everyone can submit, but we cannot cover traveling cost. 

We encourage in-experienced, up-and-coming rock stars to submit. If your session is accepted, we will contact you directly to find the best date for your talk.
