Christopher J. “Chris” Snider, NRP, EMT-P, first entered EMS in 2002 in North Carolina. After spending eight years practicing as an EMT-Intermediate, he left the profession in 2011 before returning in 2019 in the Permian Basin of New Mexico and West Texas, where he worked as both an EMT and a safety consultant. He attended paramedic school during the COVID-19 pandemic, an experience that presented unique challenges to both classroom education and clinical training.

After earning his paramedic certification in 2022, family needs required him to relocate to Fort Wayne, Indiana. There, he served first in a high-volume 911 EMS system before transitioning to Critical Care Transport, gaining experience in both emergency and specialty patient care.

In 2025, Chris returned full-time to the Permian Basin and the oil and gas industry as a safety consultant, supporting major infrastructure construction projects with a specialization in emergency incident planning, responder integration, and occupational safety. His professional background combines frontline paramedicine with industrial safety and incident management, allowing him to bridge the gap between emergency response and risk management in high-hazard environments.
