I'm pretty lucky to live and work on Whadjuk Noongar Boodjar.

I'm all about empowering diverse and inclusive teams to be at their best. I love the intersection between business, tech & social impact - there's so much more we can do right now in Perth, and I'm here for it! I won a WiTWA Tech+20 award in 2020 and didn't think I would, and was nominated for the Business News 40u40 Awards in 2021. While I'm passionate about everything under the social impact umbrella, I tend to focus on education, wealth inequality, gender equity, climate justice, mental health and human rights. I have a particularly strong relationship with United Way West Australia, a non-profit devoted to tackling entrenched community issues. With UWWA, I am on the Board and sit on their Finance, Risk, Audit & Compliance sub-committee as they navigate the challenging ecosystem of purposeful organisations.

By the time I finished my formal education in 2018, I was privileged enough to have studied and worked across 4 continents (Europe, Asia, Africa & Oceania). Business Analysis, Change Management, Workshop Facilitation, Stakeholder Engagement, Product Ownership and all things Agile are what keep me busy.

Elle is a non-binary, neuro-divergent drag artist, activist, and social engineer. They have worked in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) since 2005 and has studied ICT since 1995. They have watched communications technology change through time along with society as they served in the Marine Corps, transitioned into civilian life, and raised a family.

Elle has a bachelor's degree in History where they focused on Modern American and Military History and a master's degree in Executive Leadership where she learned how organizations of all types operate. While serving in the Marines, Elle studied and taught tactical and strategic ICT security to active duty Marines. After transitioning to civilian life, Elle has supported two defense contracting firms delivering ICT Intelligence Services to the United States government through contracts supporting the Armed Forces, the Defense Intelligence Agency, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, as well as many others.

Elle loves volunteer work and dedicates roughly 1000 hours of community service each year at a variety of organizations, to include: Girl Scouts of the USA, the Rainbow Coalition, Safe Space NOVA, SMYLE, and the Hive Social Garden, a non-profit conceptualized through her daughter's Girl Scout Gold Award project. Elle uses her skills to teach Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) training courses, provide mentorship to LGBTQ+ youth, and advocate for social, economic, and environmental justice through the art of drag.

Mr Sourav Karmakar is a Roboticist and a Research Scholar from IIIT HYDERABAD, CEO of ​Infinos Tech and he has given various talks internationally such as TEDx Talk, FAiL Talk (MIT, ​USA), Motivational Sessions, Space-Talks, etc. His vision is to research and develop Soft Robots for medical and aerospace applications. Rebecca’s passion for mindful leadership blossomed in Fall 2019 while working on wellness initiatives and learning about mindful leadership practices at the Office of School Health in NYC. That Fall, she attended the Mindful Leader Summit and began researching mindful leadership in depth to inform her work and career path. She wrote her master’s thesis on using mindful leadership to create mindful healthcare workplaces, enhancing the well-being of healthcare professionals and improving patient care.

At the University of Rochester, she practices mindful leadership in her efforts to support student mental well-being through innovative health education. In this role, she directs the Mindful University Project, promoting a mindful campus culture. She directs the Mindful Professor Training Program, works to develop contemplative spaces at each school, teaches meditation workshops, silent retreats, as well as leads workshops on mindfulness, self-compassion, and yoga.
