My 'why' for creating SelfL is deeply personal. I’ve faced mental health struggles throughout my life, and when I lost my younger brother to suicide in 2021, it was a pivotal moment. I recognized I had been on a similar path, but one thing that pulled me back from the edge was dance—it truly saved my life. Even at my lowest last year last year, I achieved incredible things—like being number one nationally in sales. That taught me if I can achieve that at my worst, imagine what’s possible at my best.
