With a background in business management in college then primarily intellectual property law throughout law school, Joseph started his legal career as an Associate Attorney at Glynn, Mercep, and Purcell LLP (GMP) in East Setauket, New York. During his tenure at GMP, Joseph concentrated in many different types of civil litigation. Sani Ammani is a Nigerian lawyer and legislative drafting consultant focused on digital rights, criminal justice reform and gender equality. He works clause by clause on primary legislation, sharpening offence definitions, tightening procedure, and building survivor safeguards that investigators and courts can use. He supports state-level reform and justice-sector capacity-building across Northern Nigeria, working with public institutions and development partners to produce legal texts that hold up in real cases.
