My journey in IT began when I was a child, turning on my first computer. It was a starting point that led me to explore many aspects of the computer and technology world. I was always fascinated by the possibilities that technology offered, and I was eager to learn more.
I began to focus on cloud computing. I was drawn to the scalability, flexibility, and affordability of cloud-based solutions. I started using Google Cloud Platform, and I quickly became a passionate advocate for the platform.
I began to share my knowledge of Google Cloud with others. I started writing blog posts and articles, and I gave presentations at conferences and meetups. I also became a Google Cloud Authorized Trainer, and I began teaching others how to use at best Google Cloud Platform.
My passion for technology, the dissemination of knowledge, and communities led me to lead a GDG community in my city. I am proud to be a part of this community, and I am committed to helping others learn about technology.

Danica began her career as a software engineer in data visualization and warehousing with a business intelligence team where she served as a point-person for standards and best practices in data visualization across her company. In 2018, Danica moved to San Francisco and pivoted to backend engineering with a derivatives data team which was responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure that processes millions of financial market data per second in near real-time. Her first project on this team involved Kafka Streams and Kafka Connect. The start of experiences with Microsoft SQL Server came with the assignment for development of membership administration software for the American Chamber of Commerce in Germany. The software has been distributed to five additional European countries. The primary passion for developments with Microsoft SQL Server expanded in 2007 with his engagement as a DBA for Deutsche Bank AG in Frankfurt am Main.
