Amy currently serves as the Sales and Distribution Regional Vice President of Kansas. During her 25 year tenure at Farm Bureau Financial Services, she worked in many different capacities. The first half of her career was spent working on the operations side of the house where she learned the importance of systems, processes, and underwriting guidelines to assure our agency force was writing profitable business. In these roles she partnered closely with the agency force and supported them on many levels. While serving in this role, she began to truly understand the significant impact that our agency force has on families across our communities. Following this newfound passion and appreciation of the important work they do, she transitioned to Sales and Distribution, becoming an agent for the organization in 2009. Mike and family have run Crystal River Watersports (CRWS) since 2014 with a motto of “Observing and Preserving Nature Above, In and Underwater.” CRWS allows guests to explore Florida’s Nature coast via scuba diving, swimming with manatees, scalloping, and river cruises.
Professionally, Mike graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with degrees in business and pursued a career in information technology consulting before migrating from the DC suburbs to Citrus County, FL. Jung Min (Kevin) Kim is the Associate Director for the Asian American Center at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, where he directs student and faculty academic engagement and research projects in Asian American studies. Prior to joining the AAC he served as a collections researcher and lead curator for the Asian Pacific American Foodways Project at the Anacostia Community Museum (ACM), a joint project between the ACM and the Asian Pacific American Center that documented the diversity, power, and resilience of Asian American food cultures in the Washington, DC region.

A food ethnographer, curator, and storyteller, his research focuses on the cultural politics of food within and across Asian American diasporic communities. His work has been features on CNN and Gastropod and he previously taught at the University of Maryland, College Park where receive a Ph.D. in American Studies. Megan Taylor is a Senior Engineering Technician at Illinois American Water. She began her career in the utility industry in 2015 with a focus on buried gas and electric systems. In 2018, she joined Illinois American Water’s Engineering group. She is a recognized water industry leader with experience in project planning, water resource management, water system acquisitions, program development, and research study design and execution.

Highlights of her contributions at Illinois American Water include developing the Company’s lead service line replacement program as well as developing and overseeing corrosion control and change in source water studies. While Megan contributes to many other efforts within the engineering team, these two programs highlight her commitment to customer satisfaction and water quality. In fact, as a result of her leadership on the Glen Carbon Source Change Study, Megan was recognized nationally by American Water with a Spotlight Award for Excellence and Innovation in Research and Development. In addition, the successful completion of the study resulted in Illinois American Water serving approximately 6,000 additional sale for resale customers. The study was deemed the approved testing procedure for Illinois American Water by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency.
