Judah De Paula received his PhD in computer sciences from University of Texas at Austin where he focused on cognitive science (psychology) and computational neuroscience (biology) and published a neural network model of a trichromatic (human) primary visual cortex (artificial intelligence). For two years he wrote fluid dynamics code at Enthought and was involved in the Python open-source community. Judah moved to Iowa, started a family, lost his first wife to cancer, and has worked for fifteen years at Corteva Agriscience in a variety of roles, including management. His current title is, Senior Software Architect where he partners with agronomic researchers to write new code and simultaneously keep millions of lines of legacy in-house code operational.

Studying the human mind is his true passion but computers pay better. While not at work he's taking care of his one wife, seven kids, three cats, two dogs and a mix of hamsters, fish, but never a snake. Shannon Kaylee Wolcott Mosley (she/her) is a maintenance technician at Sapporo-Stone Brewing. Shannon's journey in fermentation began in 2015 when she owned and operated ^5 cider in Portland, Oregon. She was eager to explore various fermentation disciplines and transitioned to working as a Distiller at McMenamins in 2018. Later, she became the inaugural Head Distiller at Shine Spirits in 2019. In addition to her hands-on experience in cider and spirits production, Shannon also dedicated her time to education. She worked as a general aide for the Business of Craft Beverages class at Portland State University, collaborating closely with Mellie Pullman. In 2018, Shannon, alongside Jeff Allsworth, co-taught the BB401 and BB402 classes until May 2020, demonstrating her passion for sharing knowledge within the industry. Jose Rogelio Fung Corro, (born March 29, 1988), often known by his initials, J.FUNG is a Panamanian software freedom activist and Engineer. He campaigns for software to be distributed in a manner such that its users receive the freedoms to use, study, distribute and modify that software. Software that ensures these freedoms is termed free software. Fung launched the Digital Culture Project in the Fire Department in Panama, founded the Panama Java User Group, developed differents Database for the Fire Department in Panama and different software and tools for Education in Panama.

Fung was one of the Instructors for the MuNET Project wth the AIG in Panama and the University of Panama with create new tools for the Project. With this, he also launched the free software movement in Herrera. He has been the ASPASOL and Panama Java User project's activist and organizer, he founded the Free Software Movement in Herrera.

I started my career in software development about 15 years ago and went through the multiple stages from being 'normal' developer then with focus on security and up until managing big development teams (50+ people).
This year I decided to leave my corporate career and build my own product, a small device, which helps companies save water. My motivation was rapidly changing Australian climate as well as recent droughts, so I thought that can be my contribution to the better future.
