He won an American Book Award with Cheung and Greg Robinson as co-editor of JOHN OKADA: The Life & Rediscovered Work of the Author of No-No Boy (University of Washington Press), in which he authored the first-ever biography of Okada and traced the origins of his novel. My name is Esther Davies and I’m a storytelling enthusiast with a basis in dramaturgy of classical theatre, later academically educated in film and creative writing for video games and other interactive forms. I'm a dramaturgy graduate who also attended screenplay workshops and a writing course at Nottingham University.
I'm a native English speaker born and raised in Croatia. I work as an English teacher for young children, teaching English through stories, books, and writing. My mostly theatrical background gave me a lot of insight into character development, making me pursue character-driven storylines. My love for fiction and books gave me a rich inner world which helps with my worldbuilding.
I've been writing plays for group participants for ZKM, the Zagreb Theatre of Youth, since I was 13 years of age. I inhale books, write short prose and fiction, and have been selected as a candidate for short story contests. Gregory’s academic journey began at the University of California, Irvine, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theater between 1983 and 1986. From January 1986 to January 1989, he was responsible for daily operations, budgeting, fundraising, and community engagement. This role strengthened his ability to lead mission-driven organizations while remaining responsive to the needs of underserved populations.

Gregory’s transition into wellness followed his participation in massage programs at Michael O'Shea's Sport Training Institute. In 1991, he founded Serdahl Associates, which later became Massage America, Ltd. His goal was to build a massage and wellness organization capable of operating within large institutional environments. Under his leadership, the company managed massage programs for Crunch Fitness, several New York Sports Club locations, and the New York Football Giants during the Dan Reeves era.

Massage America later partnered with Mount Sinai and NYU hospitals, the Printing House Athletic Club, and the Manhattan Athletic Club. On one notable day, his schedule included Ed Koch, Lawrence Taylor, Edgar Bronfman, Katharine Hepburn, and Arthur Ashe. Anais Amin is a Los Angeles-based professional excelling in journalism, marketing, and community activism. She earned a Master's in Journalism from Columbia University and has since used her expertise to advocate for social justice and drive meaningful change.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Anais attended the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) for her undergraduate studies and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English. While at UCLA, she served as one of the fourteen elected council members, representing over 30,000 undergraduates. Her tenure in student government focused on advocating for social justice, improving access to higher education, and enhancing mental health services for veterans. She also led a team of 40 volunteers in these efforts and moderated a key political debate among candidates for the U.S. House of Representatives.

After UCLA, Anais pursued her Master of Science at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism, graduating in 2020. Her academic focus was multimedia journalism, culminating in a significant master’s project—a 5,000-word article about a Syrian refugee family's resettlement in the U.S. This project was supplemented by a published article on her family’s escape from genocide and a video project focused on medication-assisted recovery.

During her time at Columbia, she also reported on the civil and criminal court proceedings in the Bronx, where she uncovered and wrote investigative stories on topics such as sexual abuse in Orthodox schools and the excessive use of force by private security personnel.

Anais began her career in radio production, first as an intern and then as a production assistant at Marketplace, a renowned public radio program by American Public Media, from June 2021 to December 2022. Her role involved researching, pitching, and editing content, writing scripts, and producing digital content.

Before joining Marketplace, she gained valuable experience at KPFK Radio 90.7 FM from 2017 to 2019, where she produced educational radio segments on various social, political, and scientific topics.

Anais is a fashion manufacturer's marketing and brand manager, overseeing multimillion-dollar accounts and spearheading innovative marketing campaigns. Her earlier experiences include being an executive assistant at a dental lab and a PR and marketing intern at The Borgen Project, where she promoted global poverty reduction initiatives.

In addition to her professional endeavors, Anais volunteers at animal shelters and a horse ranch for special needs children. She is also an accomplished oil painter and photographer, integrating her artistic pursuits with her advocacy work. She enjoys exploring the outdoors, visiting museums, and immersing herself in new cultures. She is fluent in Armenian and English and is enhancing her Spanish skills.

Nigel Sinclair began his journey in England, where studying at Monkton Combe sparked a strong interest in history and the arts under the guidance of teachers like Richard Blake. After completing a degree in law and economics at Cambridge in 1969, he continued his studies at the Institute of Criminology before joining Denton, Hall & Burgin. In 1979, during a period of rising oil prices, he opened offices for the firm in Dubai and Sharjah, gaining experience in addressing complex business and legal challenges. This broadened his perspective and shaped his approach to problem-solving. He later earned an LLM from Columbia University in New York, passed the California Bar exam, and opened a Los Angeles branch for the firm, where he would build a long-term career and personal life.

By the early 1980s, he had become well known in Los Angeles, gradually shifting into entertainment law. He represented a growing roster of actors and directors, and in 1989 co-founded Sinclair Tenenbaum & Co., which helped transform the international financing and distribution of independent films. Projects such as Hamlet, Braveheart, 1492, and Green Card showed how ambitious productions could thrive outside the traditional studio system.

In 1996, he transitioned from law to producing, co-founding Intermedia Films and producing titles like Sliding Doors, Hilary and Jackie, The Wedding Planner, The Quiet American, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, and Iris. After taking the company public in 2000, he co-founded Spitfire Pictures in 2003, producing music documentaries such as Masked and Anonymous, Amazing Journey: The Story of The Who, and No Direction Home: Bob Dylan.

He later founded Exclusive Media, producing films including Rush, End of Watch, Snitch, and Parkland. In 2014, he co-founded White Horse Pictures, producing acclaimed documentaries like The Beatles: Eight Days a Week – The Touring Years, Pavarotti, The Apollo, The Bee Gees: How Can You Mend a Broken Heart, Lucy and Desi, Beach Boys, and Stax: Soulsville U.S.A..
