An award-winning writer with a background in psychology, she studies journalist safety at the University of the Basque Country, Bilbao, and is part of the Media, War, and Conflict (MEKK) research group at OsloMet. Her work also explores how Artificial Intelligence is shaping media, particularly in investigative journalism.

She is unintelligible (yet deeply emotional) in seven languages, and—depending on the day—can be found researching media ethics, producing Indigenous films, or struggling valiantly to make language say the unsayable/write an email. I’m a NYC-based professional actor, improv comedian, and adjunct instructor. I’ve appeared in theatres all over the country performing in everything from Shakespeare to Neil Simon to Shrek: The Musical. You may have even seen me dancing in my underwear on One Tree Hill or co-starring in commercials with NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon or the Roaming Gnome.
