Amy authored a SEL and art module for the California Department of Education and published an article on artmaking for SEL through trauma-informed strategies for the Journal of Juvenile Court, Community and Alternative School Administrators of California. She secured grants including a $1.4 million grant from the U.S. Department of Education and a $1 million grant from the California Department of Education. Amy's philosophy is to ensure equitable arts access for all; she refuses to refuse the refused.
