With a passion for student development, leadership, and the residential experience, Kessiny has built her career around helping students and emerging professionals recognize their strengths and turn their experiences into meaningful growth.

A 2022 graduate of Middle Georgia State University, Kessiny earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and was deeply involved in campus leadership and student engagement. During her undergraduate experience, she served as Student Government Vice President, Campus Activities Board President, Resident Assistant, Community Assistant, Knights Lead Ambassador, Emerging Leaders Ambassador, and a tutor in the Mathematics Academic Resource Center. These experiences sparked her passion for student leadership and ultimately led her to pursue a career in higher education and Residence Life.

Kessiny went on to earn a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from Georgia Southern University and is currently pursuing her Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership. Her professional experience includes serving in multiple Residence Life roles, from Resident Assistant and Community Assistant to Community Coordinator, giving her a unique perspective on the connection between student leadership, professional development, and higher education.

Kessiny is actively involved in the Southeastern Association of Housing Officers (SEAHO) and has been recognized for her contributions to the field, including receiving the Paul Jahr SEAHO Scholarship, placing in the SEAHO Entry-Level Case Study Competition, and being selected for the Regional Entry-Level Institute.
