Mari Anne’s housing career began in 1999 as a resident advisor for a privately-owned residence hall on the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign campus. She joined University Housing in 2004 and has held a variety of roles with an eye toward student service during her 22 year tenure. As the director of Housing Information & Marketing, she leads residence hall occupancy management, marketing, communications, and assessment. In addition, Mari Anne champions strategic initiatives to support both students and staff who call University Housing home. Most recently she partnered with other housing executives to implement a culture & climate action plan focusing on staff support structures and developing the next level of strategic leaders in University Housing. She is the co-founder of Techvalley, a dynamic initiative focused on building a thriving community of tech enthusiasts. As an active mentor and judge, she plays a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of tech talent by guiding students through hackathons and pitching events. Her dedication to education and skill development has also led her to serve as a National Skill Development Corporation mentor, where she helps bridge the gap between education and industry.

Prajakta’s community-building efforts extend to various global and local initiatives. She is a former AngelHack Ambassador, a core member of FOSS United Pune, and a Girlscript Ambassador, where she champions diversity and inclusion in tech. She has also made significant contributions to the blockchain and decentralised tech community as a core member of Dapps.co and Hackers Meet-up.

At her university, Prajakta took the initiative to start Co-Dev, a technical community dedicated to collaboration and growth. She has been an active Microsoft Student Ambassador, connecting students with opportunities and resources, and her leadership in fostering open-source culture has left a lasting impact.

Dale L. Loudermilk, D.M., MBA, CISSP, PMP is an Assistant Professor of Computer Technology at Dunwoody College of Technology, bringing a rare and powerful blend of enterprise cybersecurity leadership, academic research, and decades of high-stakes military experience.

A retired U.S. Army Master Sergeant with nearly 29 years of multi-branch service (spanning the U.S. Marine Corps, Navy Seabees, and U.S. Army), Dale’s military career included serving as a Senior Enlisted Leader and Commandant for Special Operations Task Force - North and West Africa, as well as managing critical IT and communications network migrations for US AFRICOM and SOCAFRICA. He is a recipient of the Bronze Star Medal and Defense Meritorious Service Medal.

In the private sector, Dale has held senior technical and governance roles with organizations such as Booz Allen Hamilton, Wells Fargo, and Xcel Energy, specializing in penetration testing, cyber compliance, and multi-million-dollar technology portfolio management.

Holding a Doctor of Management (D.M.) in Organizational Development and Change, an MBA in Technology Management, and industry certifications including the CISSP, PMP, CGEIT, and CRISP, Dale’s current research and teaching focus on the critical intersection of cybersecurity, industrial automation (OT), and process governance in safety-critical cyber-physical systems.
