With over seven years of experience in employee engagement, DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion), social impact, and event management, I have dedicated my career to fostering inclusive and supportive workplace environments. I graduated from San Jose State University with a Master's in Communication Studies, during which I focused my thesis on Cancer Prognostic Conversations between Latino(a) patients and their healthcare providers. This research deepened my understanding of the disparities in health communication and further ignited my passion for advocating for underrepresented communities. I continue to conduct research supporting diverse populations in healthcare.

Dieter Uckelmann ist Professor für Informationslogistik und wissenschaftlicher Direktor des Instituts für Angewandte Forschung an der HFT Stuttgart. Seine Forschungstätigkeiten fokussieren zum einen Anwendungen im Internet der Dinge in den Bereichen Industrie 4.0, Logistik, Smart Building und Smart City, sowie zum anderen entsprechende didaktische Fragestellungen.
