During a BSc in Biomedical Engineering in Portugal I had my first contact with AI. It sparked my curiosity and I kept studying it during my MSc in Medical Imaging in the Netherlands. Through a series of internships in hospitals and research labs, I found out how to best combine these two worlds together. Working at Philips Healthcare, I got a deeper understanding of medical imaging both as a technology and a business and that these are intrinsically linked.
