Dr. Rajesh Bindal is a neurosurgeon in Sugar Land, Texas, renowned for establishing the area's first dedicated neurosurgical practice. He began his medical journey at Northwestern University in Chicago, where he was enrolled in the Honors Program in Medical Education. he graduated with his undergraduate and medical degrees. His outstanding academic performance led to his induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.

After completing his education, Dr. Bindal undertook a rigorous six-year residency in neurological surgery, which equipped him with the skills necessary for a successful career in this challenging field. In 2001, he initiated his professional practice at the Texas Medical Center in Houston, where he quickly gained a reputation for his clinical acumen and dedication to patient care.

In 2005, Dr. Bindal moved his practice to Sugar Land, where he identified a significant need for specialized neurosurgical services. He established the Methodist Sugar Land Spine Center and was director from 2009 to 2013. His leadership was further exemplified when he took on the role of surgical director of the Methodist Sugar Land Neuroscience Program from 2013 to 2017, thereby improving access to specialized neurological care for the community.
