My career was in the music industry as a producer. It was in this role that I began to understand the socio-economic value of creative content, mainly in developing infrastructures, which I presented a TED Talk on. It was through this scope that I started down the blockchain rabbit-hole.
By 2020, I delved deep into the Web3 space. I embarked on my Masters in Law, as I knew it was an important sector in Web3 with new technologies needing modern legal frameworks and innovative interpretations of current law. My dissertation was on blockchain technology in IP law. I also studied Blockchain Strategy through Oxford University, earning myself a diploma.

Tony Iovino is currently a Fellow with the EveryLibrary Institute. He was the Assistant Director for the Oceanside Library from 2015 to 2025. Prior to that, he was the head of litigation and managing partner for a law firm he started in 1986. Tony received his undergraduate degree from the University of Richmond, his JD from St. John's University School of Law, and his MLIS from the University of Kentucky.

In his role at Oceanside, Tony transformed the Library by dramatically increasing its outreach into the community, increasing program attendance 81% without a single extra dollar, markedly increasing circulation, and ultimately shepherding a $40 million renovation of the Library facility.
