Annie Margarita Yang

Annie Margarita Yang is the definitive voice in Millennial finance, specializing in strategies for beating today’s tough economic challenges. She is the author of an award-winning, best-selling new book, The 5-Day Job Search, which helps young professionals get out of student loan debt while finding the ideal job.

With more than 1 million views on YouTube, her witty approach to tough talk sets her apart from others.

Annie’s journey began with a powerful motivation: to prove her high school guidance counselor wrong. Her guidance counselor drilled into her that she would be a failure for the rest of her life if she didn’t go straight to college and borrow $40,000 to get the degree. Annie refused to believe it. She secured three accounting jobs in a row in only 5 days, without the formal accounting degree.

And now Annie shares her methods with others so that they can do the same. Her candid style cuts through the noise, delivering foolproof advice for real-world challenges. Far from generic tips, her tips focus on practical steps to quickly improve finances, especially for challenges unique to Millennials.

Based in Boston with her husband, Annie complements her professional life with a love for piano, adding another layer to her multifaceted persona.

My work sits at the intersection of real estate, finance, and digital infrastructure. I’ve researched and operated in this space since 2020, though I had been tracking blockchain and digital assets closely since 2017. I first founded a company focused on tokenized investment syndication, a path that led me to explore how AI, blockchain, and IoT could bring new levels of transparency, efficiency, and liquidity to real estate.

That experience grew into Building, a company focused on turning messy real estate data into something organized, trusted, and usable. We work with developers and asset managers to streamline their information and get their properties ready for valuations, compliance, and tokenization. The aim is to make every project finance-ready from the start.

I’m extremely cross-disciplinary, juggling a wide range of fields daily: architecture, engineering, construction, operations, urban planning, sustainability, blockchain, artificial intelligence, data science, capital markets, compliance, banking, and policy.

Outside of running a startup, I travel the world speaking publicly—keynotes, panels, and roundtables—while collaborating with startups, institutions, and government officials. My work advocates for RWA tokenization, data standards, and smarter cities. Improving the built environment and all its dependencies is one of the most challenging, but rewarding, pursuits.

I also host Code & Concrete, a podcast exploring real estate, technology, and the systems that hold cities together.

James has been working on commercial software since the late 1990s, when TDD was something you studied but never did, pipelines were something that carried oil and Agile and Lean were words used to describe gymnasts. Nasly Duarte

Nasly Duarte

Nasly Duarte is a Miami-based operations accountant with 20 years of experience across construction, insurance restoration, manufacturing, retail, and trade services. These are the same physical environments now being transformed by autonomous systems, humanoid robotics, and smart building technology.

She is the founder of Mindful Dollar, a financial architecture firm that designs autonomous operating systems for business owners under the principle of Doing More With Less. Her work sits at the intersection of how physical operations generate financial data, how that data moves through an organization, and how AI systems are beginning to act on it without human checkpoints.

Nasly is pursuing her BS in Applied Artificial Intelligence at Miami Dade College, home of Florida's first applied AI degree program. Her academic work focuses on transaction systems for autonomous financial workflows.

Two decades of sedentary desk work did real damage to her body before she understood the cost. That experience became the foundation of her Balance Problem framework, which identifies the physical health crisis hiding inside every conversation about the future of knowledge work. She documents her recovery and research publicly through her Think Like a Healer series.

She is the originator of two futurist frameworks shaping her speaking practice.

1. The Interchange describes the coming convergence of tech workers acquiring trade skills and trade workers acquiring AI tools — not because the market forces them to, but because their bodies and brains require it.

2. Buildings Are the New Computers argues that physical environments are already the most undervalued data infrastructure in the AI economy, and that the workers generating that data deserve equity in the systems being built from it.

Her talks challenge organizations to stop training workers for the economy of five years ago and start positioning workers as equity participants in the AI systems being built today. She brings to every stage the perspective of someone who has spent two decades inside the operations layer, not observing it from the outside.

She is based in Florida and speaks nationally on autonomous business systems, smart building economics, workforce equity in the AI economy, the Balance Problem, The Interchange, and financial architecture for the autonomous enterprise.
