I work at the boundary between machine learning research and semantic communication -- interested in how AI models learn to represent meaning, how much of that meaning survives when you compress or transmit it, and what breaks when you push systems to their limits.
I enjoy asking questions that sit slightly outside the obvious: how many dimensions does a model actually need? Do different architectures converge toward the same internal structure? Where does information-theoretic thinking meet deep learning in useful ways?
Outside of research, I'm an active competitive programmer and stay closely engaged with what's happening across the ML and AI space -- from model efficiency and representation learning to the broader question of how intelligence, artificial or otherwise, organises knowledge.
