Heather Satterley is the Director of Education of Media at Woodard.

Heather’s passion for helping others and her love for technology have shaped her career in public accounting. Her affinity for facilitating change within an organization is paramount to her work, helping businesses design and automate their business processes using cutting-edge technologies. Heather wholeheartedly believes in the power of community and the magic that is created when people work together toward the same purpose.

In addition to her work with Woodard, Heather is the co-host of The Appy Hour with Liz and Heather, a webinar series devoted to demystifying the world of technology and apps in the accounting profession. She is also the co-creator and producer of Appy Hour Camp, a collaborative retreat experience created to connect and nurture the relationship between accounting professional educators and software developers.

Heather was named a categorical top 10 ProAdvisor in 2017 and 2019 and was listed as one of the top influential people in accounting by Accounting Today in 2019.

I had a curious start at the university in my first year of Medicine. I changed majors and ended up studying Industrial Engineering at the UPC in Barcelona.

When I finished I started directly in the world of ERP (Ax2009, AX2012...) but having the luck of being able to combine ERP tasks with tasks from other areas such as BI and systems.

Right now I run the technical department of the company where I work and I have the great opportunity to teach and help my colleagues grow in the same way that they did with me at the time. It is a very beautiful feeling that accompanies me every day and that I see rewarded every time they see that they have taken a "little step" alone.

Tom is an engineer, writer and experienced people leader. His technical background and interests are extensive including security, software development, DevOps and engineering culture. Before joining SUSE, Fatih served as the Executive Director of the Continuous Delivery Foundation (CDF) at the Linux Foundation, where he led initiatives to enhance cross-industry and cross-community collaboration in the CI/CD domain. Mark Miller is a seasoned Business Systems Manager, responsible for the implementation and management of all IT applications across an international steel processor. He has implemented Microsoft D365 F&O, Copilot, Power BI, and many other platforms during his time at Steel Warehouse. He holds BA and MBA degrees from Indiana University, and he is an adjunct professor for their business school teaching courses to executives on how to leverage IT.
