Melissa Eggleston serves as a user experience researcher and designer for the Digital Service at the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare. Her specialty is applying trauma-informed principles to the design process and products. For more than 15 years, she has improved the user experience of websites, apps, and software for organizations of all sizes, including Lenovo, Duke University, The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Teamworks, and many others. In 2023 she won the Service to the Citizen Customer Experience Trailblazer Award for her work on 988 (the U.S. suicide hotline) and related websites. Dr. Bradley Fowler is a dissertation chair with Capitol Technology University for the Master of Research in Cyberpsychology and Ph.D. in Cybersecurity. He is a general Alumni Council member at American Public University Systems, as well as a member of the E-Learning Guild, Webmaster Association, and National Cybersecurity Student Association. He is a peer review analyst for the National Cyberwatch Association and a lifetime member of the Golden Key International Honour Society. Dr. Fowler is the owner of Construction EMarketing, a small digital marketing and website development business.

Dr. Fowler has written many works including Cybersecurity Public Policy SWOT Analysis for 43 Countries (co-author) published by Routledge Taylor & Francis and CRC Press, AWS for Public and Private Sector Cloud Computing Architecture for Government and Business published by Apress, Information Assurance Risk Management Strategies for Managing Information Systems and Technology in the Cloud published by Apress, and How Cyberpsychology Can Help Us Understand Cybercrime published by Nova Science Publishers.

In April 2011, he earned a Paralegal Certificate from U.S. Career Institute and began volunteering with the American Alliance for Paralegals, Inc. as the Webmaster, which he enjoyed for two years.

Dr. Fowler earned both his Collaborative Institute Training Initiative (CITI) Certificate in Doctoral Research in September 2022, and a Master of Research in Cyberpsychology in August 2023 (Summa Cum Laude) from Capitol Technology University. Prior, he earned both a Master of Science in Cybersecurity in 2018 and a Master of Science in Managing Information Systems in 2021 (Summa Cum Laude) from Bellevue University. He received both a Master of Science in Cloud Computing Architecture in 2022 (Cum Laude) and a Graduate Certificate in Information Assurance in 2023 from the University of Maryland Global Campus. He also earned a Master of Public Policy in Cybersecurity Policy from American Public University Systems in 2022 (Summa Cum Laude), a Bachelor of Arts in eMarketing in 2015 (Cum Laude), and a Master of Arts in Teaching and Learning with Technology in 2016 (Summa Cum Laude) from University of Arizona Global Campus. Currently, he is completing a Doctor of Management Information Systems and Technology at University of Phoenix, where he was inducted in the National Society of Leadership & Success, and a Doctor of Education in Education Administration at California Coast University, and Ph.D. in Cybersecurity Leadership at Capitol Technology University.

Katjarina “Katja” Hurt is the Founder and Executive Director of the non-profit organization, Wilderness Chaplains. Katja has a background in law enforcement with the Washington State and Missouri Departments of Correction as a probation and parole officer, curriculum specialist, policy adviser, and master trainer. She serves as a chaplain for several Search & Rescue and Mountain Rescue groups through the King County Sheriff’s Office.
