Coleman Creed Ledbetter grew up in Waller, Texas, surrounded by quiet fields, steady routines, and a close family that shaped his early sense of direction. Life on a ranch near his grandparents taught him responsibility through simple daily tasks and long hours outside. He spent much of his childhood exploring open land and learning how work and patience fit together. These early lessons formed the values that still guide him with clarity and purpose.

After graduating from Waller High School in 2021, Coleman started college at Texas Tech before moving to South Plains College, where he plans to finish in 2026. He intends to become an electrician, drawn to the hands-on skill and reliability of the trade. Working with tools and building practical knowledge feels meaningful to him. The direction he has chosen offers a balance of stability and growth, giving him a clear path toward a future he can shape.

Music took root in Coleman’s life early on through family gatherings that often ended with shared songs and well-used guitars. Those moments helped him find confidence in singing and writing, and he developed a style closely tied to his Texas upbringing. He has performed in Lubbock at spots like Bashas and continues to draw inspiration from the outdoors and the people who influence his life. Music gives him space to express emotion and reflect on where he comes from.

Outside of school and music, Coleman Ledbetter spends significant time outdoors, where fishing, hunting, and surfing bring a sense of peace. Growing up in Texas helped him love open spaces, and trips to Costa Rica introduced him to surfing while he was young. His work experience includes construction duties with Epic Energy and managing rental properties, both of which taught him problem-solving and responsibility. These roles strengthened his ability to handle challenges with patience.

Volunteer work has also shaped Coleman’s perspective, including mission trips with UMARMY, projects at a women’s shelter, and supporting programs through Cepia in Costa Rica.
