Dr. Sundar graduated from Nova Southeastern University in 1996, obtaining Board certification in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery and Facial Plastic Surgery. Immediately after residency she founded her own successful Ear, Nose and Throat Practice and Medical Spa in St. Augustine, FL.

A diagnosis of thyroid cancer in her first year of medical practice caused Dr. Sundar to reflect deeply on the balance of career and personal life. She struggled with burnout throughout her career and was inspired to reinvent herself to feel more fulfillment in her work. Although she has spoken professionally for many years about Ear, Nose, and Throat, and Beauty topics, she always desired to communicate in a way that would inspire and motivate professional women to be their best in leadership, entrepreneurship, and in life. When Aesthetician Mandy Lile created Potency No. 710, she was already working with plant based ingredients some 20 years, but she became very intrigued by the mystery of what she felt may be the long lost secret ingredient in skincare, cannabis. Philanthropy as a Core Value

Deeply committed to giving back, Shelton donates 50% of profits from their corporate yoga contracts to The Maroon Collective Artist Wellness House. This initiative addresses affordable housing and community wellness, creating opportunities for Black artists in Cincinnati.

Dr. Gerzina is the Sr. Executive Director, Wasson Center for Clinical Skills Training, Assessment, and Scholarship and Interprofessional Education Services (IPES) at NEOMED. Dr. Gerzina earned an MEd in Evaluation and Measurement and a PhD in Health Education and Promotion with a focus on mental health promotion and resilience in health and human service professionals from Kent State University. She began her medical education career as a site trainer for the NBME Step 2 Clinical Skills test in the early 1990’s, completed simulation training at Harvard’s Center for Medical Simulation in 2004, earned her AAMC Medical Education Research Certificate at the University of Miami 2008, earned her TeamSTEPPS Master Trainer certificate in 2014, and has been a certified healthcare simulation educator (CHSE) since 2018.
At NEOMED, Dr. Gerzina also serves as an Associate Professor of Family & Community Medicine and Associate Professor of Psychiatry. She has over 25 years of experience with medical and health professions curriculum including application of standardized/simulated patient/participant (SP) methodology as well as formative, summative, and high-stakes performance-based assessment. In addition to her extensive experience building and operating education and training centers for UGME, GME, and Interprofessional Education, she formerly served as the Executive Director, Office of Continuing Professional Education. She has collaborated on numerous grants to design curriculum and assessment via SP Methodology to train health care and human service teams individually and for collaborative care, especially as this relates to integrated primary care and mental health.
Nationally, she has served on the executive board of the Association of Standardized Patient Educators (ASPE) and most recently served as the Vice President, Operations. Having served as the Chair, Standards of Practice, ASPE, Dr. Gerzina represented ASPE at monthly collaborative workshops with INACSL and SSH on Standards, Core Competencies and Best Practices in Healthcare Simulation. She has authored multiple publications in her areas of expertise as well as chapters related to safe work environments and application of ASPE SOBP. She has also worked with an interprofessional case development group for the Global Network for Simulation in Healthcare (GNSH) to improve patient safety & enhance health systems.

With a strong background in community outreach and public health, Sydney is committed to advancing prostate cancer awareness and connecting underserved communities to vital health services. Her work centers on reducing health disparities and empowering African American men to engage in preventive health practices around prostate cancer screening. Cheryl Fattibene, DNP, MSN, MPH, FNP-BC Cheryl has been a Family Nurse Practitioner and Nursing leader for 33 years and has experience in a number of healthcare leadership and clinical roles. She has been part of national nursing initiatives including the Nurses on Boards Coalition and the National Forum of State Nursing Workforce. She has worked on healthcare initiatives including value-based care (VBC) and payment models for NPs and is a national presenter on the topic of provider burnout and team-based care models. She is currently working on a Transition to Practice book for new NPs and doing freelance work for AAPEX, NNPEN and other national advanced practice organizations to further the NP role and its recognition. She currently serves on the alumni board of the Yale School of Public Health. Along with her full-time job teaching at Jefferson College of Nursing in Philadelphia, Cheryl has also worked as an FNP for Customs and Border Patrol to provide care to detainees at the U.S. detention camps along the U.S. southern border.
