Dr Jennifer Smith, is a retired Chief Equity Officer, Leadership Coach and Consultant. She started her career in education as a middle school math and computer teacher in the Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD) over 27 years ago. She later went on to become an elementary school principal in PUSD during which time her school proudly earned a California Gold Ribbon in 2016 for their Balanced Literacy approach which resulted in the highest growth in elementary reading scores for the district in 2018. Dr. Smith was awarded Elementary Principal of the Year in 2019 by the Association of Pasadena School Administrators. Chris writes things. Most of the time, he's writing code at his 9-5 working for the amazing WillowTree, Inc (no, not the statuette company). But occasionally, late at night, once all the women in his life (1 wife, 2 daughters) have gone to sleep, Chris dons his superhero outfit (he's partial to Batman) and delves into fanatastical, imaginary worlds of his own creation, crafting stories that would amaze and astonish you if you were only to give him some of your money in exchange for his book. Currently, he's editing his first full-length fantasy novel and looks to seek publication once he's done.

After more than 30 years in the software industry I am now a post-graduate student at the University of Malta, researching human factors in testing. My interest in this topic arose from real-life experiences as a test manager, quality manager, and test consultant. I've spoken and told stories at software conferences worldwide, as well as chairing EuroSTAR (2019) and HUSTEF (2018). I received the 2017 EuroSTAR Testing Excellence Award.
