DeAngelo Burse is a social psychologist, college professor, and keynote speaker. He has a bachelor's in philosophy and religious studies and a Master's in Social Psychology from Walden University. As well as lobbying Government and the judiciary, the organisation runs support groups around the United Kingdom, and Alex currently serves as Chairman of the Plymouth branch.

Over the past 18 years, Alex has worked as an advocate in the UK, USA, Mexico, Canada, and Eastern Europe, assisting individuals in the family courts that either cannot afford an attorney or have realised that such practitioners often do more to harm their case than achieve a decent outcome. Mary C. Jordan

Dr. Mary Jordan is the inaugural director of new student programs and community initiatives at Brown University. In this role, she leads New Student Orientation, Weeks of Welcome, Class Year Programs, and the Brunonians Living Off Campus (BLOC) good neighbor program. Mary's favorite part of her role is working closely with Brown's brilliant, diverse, and creative students to cultivate communities of belonging - from orientation to graduation.

Prior to coming to Brown University, Mary served as an assistant professor in Social and Behavioral Sciences at Santa Fe College, where she taught and studied global career development, learning mindsets, personal and organizational leadership, and equitable student success outcomes. Mary also teaches and advises dissertation projects for graduate students in the University of Florida’s College of Education and St. Thomas University’s Institute for Ethical Leadership.

Mary earned her Bachelor's degree from Temple University in Journalism and Political Science, Master's degree from Rowan University in Higher Education Administration, and Ph.D. from the University of Florida in Higher Education Administration and Policy. Outside of the classroom and office, Mary enjoys rock-climbing, kayaking, hiking, and reading. She and her family split their time between Providence, Rhode Island and Cape Cod, in Massachusetts.
