Europe is my home. After graduating from high school in Freiberg, I went to Ireland for 3 years – without a return flight. This was followed by years abroad - Norway, India, Spain, Switzerland, France and projects in more than 15 different countries. I was able to learn a lot in the process.
Today I live in Europe, part-time in Germany, part-time in countries with mountains – and finally speak 4 languages fluently – a childhood dream.

What am I telling?

In my sessions, I like to take the audience on a mountain tour. My passion for nature and the mountains gives me a balance to everyday computer life and many interesting parallels. Together we look into the heart of project management - risk, stakeholders, goals, environment, change - tools do not exist for themselves, but to benefit the project and the people.

Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to integrating robust DevOps and MLOps practices across diverse organizational frameworks to boost operational efficiency and drive innovation.

My professional journey commenced at Cine Lounge, where I played a key role in expanding the infrastructure to incorporate cloud services, primarily focusing on AWS. My responsibilities included automating code builds and deployments, establishing security protocols, and mentoring IT operations personnel, significantly enhancing the reliability of application software in the cloud.

In 2022, I transitioned to 360shotitz as a DevOps Engineer, leading initiatives to develop interactive and responsive web applications using React, which markedly improved scalability and user engagement. My strategic management of database operations and API development greatly increased backend efficiency and data retrieval speeds.

Further progressing in my career, I joined Propatx as a DevOps Engineer. There, I was instrumental in optimizing a hybrid Linux environment across multiple data centers, achieving an exceptional uptime record of 99.9%. My innovative approaches to automating processes using Puppet and deploying comprehensive CI/CD pipelines via Jenkins minimized manual intervention and expedited deployment cycles.

I have consistently demonstrated expertise in administering a variety of SQL and NoSQL databases, optimizing performance, and ensuring robust data integrity. My advanced skills in infrastructure automation are further enhanced by my deep understanding of network security and cybersecurity, supported by strong scripting abilities in Ruby, Python, and Bash.
