DataRhineland - PASS Deutschland eV Rhineland regional group - Every 1st or 2nd Thursday of each Month

Who are we?

The PASS Rhineland regional group belongs to PASS Deutschland e.V. (www.sqlpass.de). We are a face-to-face community with the aim of exchanging experiences about Microsoft Data Platform products and making connections with like-minded individuals. Our focus is on Microsoft SQL Server, Power BI, and Data Platform Services on Azure.

PASS Deutschland e.V. is an official chapter of PASS Global (www.sqlpass.org). The association has no commercial background and is supported by voluntary work and sponsors. We meet monthly, usually 12 times a year, alternating on the first or second Thursday of each month.


We are looking for? 


We're seeking dynamic speakers knowledgeable in Microsoft data technologies, particularly in areas such administration (DBA), development (DEV-OPS), business intelligence (BI), data analytics, big data and NoSQL, cloud (Azure) and  as well as  Fabric. We're also open to other session suggestions that align with our theme.


When?

Every first or second Thursday of each month, from around 6pm to 9pm.



Where? 

It depends, mainly in Königswinter, may be around Bonn / Cologne.

Königswinter has very good connections to public transport. From the Königswinter ferry stop on line 66, it is only a 5-minute walk to the office of oh22information services GmbH.

The parking spaces directly at the company are limited, but the Drachenfelsbahn car park can be reached in about 5 minutes on foot.

Azure Thursday is a Dutch-based meetup group wholly dedicated to Azure technical sessions. We host an event every first Thursday of every month.

We are one of the oldest and longest-running meetup groups in NL, hosting events every month since mid-2018.

This is a group for all developers, consultants, architects, and IT professionals who want to dive into for them unknown topics related to Azure. Azure Thursdays are happening every first Thursday of the month and the format will be different every evening. From hands-on workshops to technical talks.

Vad är en kompetensdag?

Ca. 6 gånger om året har Omegapoint Göteborg kompetensdagar!


En "kompetensdag" är egentligen en halvdag med start vid lunch den andra fredagen på månaden där vi lär ut och lär oss av varandra. Dessa halvdagar räknas in i de 10 dagars kompetensutveckling alla anställda på Omegapoint har. Kompetensdagen avrundas såklart med AW.

Hur?

Att hålla ett pass på en kompetensdag kan se ut på olika vis. Man kan i klassisk anda hålla en föreläsning om ett ämne som intresserar en. Det kan vara något tekniskt, icke-tekniskt. Något man lärt sig på sitt uppdrag eller vill dela med sig av från livet utanför Omegapoint.

Exempel på format:

  • Föreläsning i valfri längd
  • Praktisk workshop (lär oss något tillsammans. Kanske att hacka eller lära oss ett nytt språk)
  • Diskussion kring en spännande frågeställning man själv vill veta mer om, eller själv råkar vara kunnig på
  • Hålla en bokcirkel eller studiecirkel i någon annan form
  • Egen idé
