JHBMSDUG is the Johannesburg Microsoft Developer User Group which have an in-person the 2nd Tuesday of every month.

It's a great community where you can meet other developers (but not limited to) and learn new skills. It is also a great place to share any new projects that you have been working on or topics that might interest others. Everyone is welcome whether it is your first talk or you have done keynotes on the big stage.

Topics can be anything Microsoft tech related. Speak about topics that you are an expert on, learning or just show us something cool you are working on.

The DSC Community calls are scheduled every 6 weeks, and you can add them to your calender using the ICS file: https://dsccommunity.org/ics/DSC_Community_Call.ics

We use Microsoft Teams to host it, and you can join from your browser.

Usually, the call starts with an update into what happened in the last 6 weeks in the community, such as new DSC Resource modules, or event or blog posts that we feel are relevant, then followed by one or two presentation.

Those presentations can be a quick demo of a workflow, showing what you can do with a DSC Resource module, Guest Configuration policies or anything related to PowerShell DSC: you name it!

We are .NET Zuid, a User Group for and by software development professionals who work with Microsoft technology.

.NET Zuid has two goals:

  • Share the passion for technology in an informal, friendly setting
  • Bring together companies and talent in the South of the Netherlands

We are very passionate about technology and everything that is needed to create awesome software! We like to share this passion by organizing knowledge events for new and not so new technologies, with a strong focus on Microsoft.
