Maleek Taiwo ADEBAYO is a Mining Officer with Forte Upstream Services Limited, where he contributes to the planning and execution of solid mineral exploration programs across Nigeria. He holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Applied Geology from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, and is currently pursuing a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Geology (Solid Minerals Exploration Option) at the University of Ilorin.
He has gained extensive hands-on experience through active participation in exploration projects for gold, lithium, and barite deposits. His technical expertise spans geological mapping, core logging, geochemical sampling, structural interpretation, and GIS-based data analysis for mineral target delineation and evaluation. Maleek applies these competencies to support data-driven and sustainable resource development practices in the Nigerian mining industry.
A corporate member of the Nigerian Mining and Geosciences Society (NMGS) and an active member of the Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists (NAPE), he is passionate about advancing responsible mineral exploration and strengthening collaboration between academia, industry, and government toward the sustainable growth of Nigeria’s solid minerals sector.
