Charts and data visualisation with Excel and Power BI are my favourite topics, but I also like a good dig around data with Power Query and DAX. I've been working with SharePoint for over 15 years, building sites, process automation and online integrations. After hours I spend a lot of time in online forums for Excel with the web alias "teylyn". As an end user, I prefer solutions that use the built-in functionality and as little custom code as possible. Adrian Alexander of New York, born in Bucharest, Romania, in 1946, emigrated to the United States in 1964 after completing high school. Holding dual U.S. and Italian citizenships, his early days in America were marked by adversity; his father passed away just six months after their arrival. He rose to the challenge, supporting his mother while pursuing his education. He earned a Master’s in Electrical Engineering from NYU Engineering School in 1970 and an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1972.

His academic excellence during these challenging times set the stage for his successful career. He began in investment banking, recruited by Morgan Stanley & Co. from Harvard, where he worked for three years before moving to Lehman Brothers Kuhn Loeb as VP of Mergers and Acquisitions.

He initially joined Revlon, but it was at Forest Pharmaceuticals where he made a significant impact. Over 27 years, he navigated complex healthcare landscapes and achieved several promotions. Eventually, he led Forest Laboratories' Federal Public Policy & Government Affairs department, notably during the implementation of the Affordable Care Act.

His strategic financial planning began early, influenced by a mentor's advice at age 19, which guided him to divide his life into thirds: learning, earning, and enjoying. This blueprint led Ken to retire by age 50, thanks partly to his savvy real estate investments, including development projects in the Outer Banks and a strong team of financial advisors.
Ken's passion for basketball has been a constant in his life. Since 1990, he has coached high school basketball, significantly shaping the programs at Palisades and Palmerton High Schools in Pennsylvania. His leadership earned him the title of Boys Basketball Coach of the Year in 2015, and under his guidance, his team won the District 11 Class 3A title in 2019. He also founded the Colonial League Boys Basketball Coaches Association to promote recognition of the league's top players.

Ken does not limit his athletic pursuits to basketball. He also competes in open-water swim events. He participates in several races along the New Jersey Shore and has completed notable swims, including a 3.5-mile event at Wrightsville Beach.
