It often felt like great work was possible, but buried beneath layers of complexity and inertia.

Then, I discovered Agile, not just as a methodology but as a new way of seeing. Suddenly, what had felt immovable started to shift. Change no longer seemed like an abstract hope; it became accessible, actionable, and human. But that’s when the real work began.

Agile isn't just a set of practices; it's a language, mindset, and way of operating that challenges our deepest assumptions about control, predictability, and progress. Bringing that into organisations often felt like painting with watercolors on iron steel.

To cut through, I began creating visuals and frameworks that made complex concepts simple and abstract ideas tangible. This became a superpower: turning clarity into capability. Born on October 27, 1991, in Anambra State, Emmanuel is the first born in a family of six, who faced early adversity with the loss of three siblings and his mother. Despite these challenges, his passion for technology was ignited at a young age when he assisted his aunt, a teacher, with tasks involving PowerPoint and MS Word, laying the foundation for his future in tech.

Manoj began his career at Peninsula Polymers Limited (PENPOL) in 1986, contributing to the establishment of India’s first blood bag manufacturing facility. Manoj played a key role in developing manufacturing processes, quality systems, and product engineering. Following PENPOL’s joint venture with Terumo Corporation, Japan, he played a pivotal role in transferring advanced Terumo technology to India.
Over the years, Manoj held diverse leadership roles at Terumo Penpol, including Head of Factory, Production, R&D, Quality, Engineering, as well as Management Representative for Quality Management Systems. He established a robust Quality Management System and drove continual improvements, positioning Terumo Penpol as a trusted and respected leader in its segment.
His career reflects extensive international exposure, having worked with Terumo’s global sites on technology transfer and collaborative projects. During his career, Manoj also served in the Middle East in Senior management position in medical device industry.
In his last role, Manoj served as Vice President of Global Product Development & Engineering for Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies, overseeing R&D operations across India, Japan, and Vietnam. He also held the position of Whole Time Director at Terumo Penpol Pvt. Ltd., where he guided strategic growth and innovation.
Manoj’s expertise encompasses establishing medical device manufacturing and R&D facilities, leading quality organizations through global Regulatory and Notified body audits. He is a trained medical device auditor and lead auditor for Quality Management Systems.
Beyond corporate leadership, Manoj contributes actively to industry standards and professional bodies. He is a member of national and international standardization committees, including ISO Technical Committees, where he serves as an expert member and Project leader. He is a Life member of the Indian Institution of Industrial Engineering (IIIE) and the Indian Plastics Institute (IPI). Currently, he chairs the Medical Plastics Committee of the Indian Plastics Institute.
