Founded in early 2018, infoVia launched into the advisory consulting practice with a vision to guide
organizations along the information journey following leading practices and proven success strategies.

Biography
Michael Magalsky is founder and Principal Architect at infoVia (http://info-via.com). He draws from a
quarter-century of data and analytics experience at Micron Technologies, where Michael helped lead
the big data effort to integrate the company’s massive volumes of manufacturing data to improve cost
structure and quality of Micron's world-leading memory products. Now, as an independent consultant
with infoVia specializing in Information Architecture, Data Warehouse Modeling and Implementation,
and Data Security, his team helps other organizations benefit from the lessons learned in the data
journeys with numerous successful clients in the United States and abroad. Mike’s passion for results-oriented, value-added data integration and provisioning has led to work in industries including
healthcare, education, insurance, manufacturing, and services industries. Mike is a certified Project
Management Professional (PMP), Certified Data Vault Modeler (CDVDM), and Certified Data Vault 2.0
Practitioner (CDVP2). He lives with his family in beautiful Boise, Idaho, where he enjoys spending his
weekends in the Idaho outdoors.
