Dr. Kamal Chaban Kabakibou, M.D., born in January 1964, has earned recognition as a distinguished specialist in anesthesiology and pain management. He began his medical career after graduating from the University of Aleppo Faculty of Medicine in 1987, a foundational experience that set the stage for his subsequent medical achievements.

Following his graduation, Dr. Kabakibou pursued further training in the United States, deepening his expertise and broadening his clinical skills. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center from 1991 to 1994, where he gained invaluable experience across various medical disciplines. Fernando Posada is the group leader of the Systems Acceptance and User Environment group at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. He earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. During his Ph.D., Fernando developed an interest in High-Performance Computing and completed a Master's degree in the same field from SISSA. Verónica Analía Recchia is an Argentine lawyer and psychologist, lecturer at the Faculty of Psychology (UBA) and instructor at the Centro de e-Learning, UTN FRBA, where she teaches leadership, cognition, and applied decision-making in high-pressure environments.

Her research combines cognitive science, ethics, organizational psychology and AI-driven decision architectures. She is the author of Agilidad y Talento. Egoísmo y Altruismo del Poder (A pesar de la Mente Click) and is currently developing her new book MenteClick.IA (La continuidad de la especie) — ISBN 978-631-01-1706-5 — on artificial intelligence, evolutionary continuity and human-machine alterity.

She is a co-founder of EIA LATAM (Ethics of Artificial Intelligence), an emerging collaborative initiative focused on cognitive sovereignty, AI ethics, and human–machine coexistence. The project is currently developing the EIA Manifesto.

Her work examines how intuitive cognition and structured algorithmic systems can coexist to preserve human judgment, ethical direction, and political responsibility within accelerated technological ecosystems.

Dr. Peter Marchetto is the Research Engineer and Instrumentation Scientist at FieldKit, dealing with environmental measurements from finding the measurand in the environmental system all the way through the signal chain to getting environmental data online and interpreted. He also volunteers as lead engineer at Sunflower City, a nonprofit environmental organization focused on proving out nature-based solutions to flooding issues, where he is responsible for sensor network hardware and measurement instrumentation. He was previously a professor in the Bioproducts and Biosystems Engineering department at the University of Minnesota, co-director of that department’s Instrumentation and Robotics Group, and lead designer of the department’s makerspace. His graduate and postdoctoral work focused on creating instrumentation for both the Bioacoustics Research Program and the Soil and Water Lab at Cornell University. He is the chair of the Standards and Practices Subcommittee of the Distributed Sensing Technical Committee of the American Geophysical Union, and has been a member of IEEE, AES, ASA, AGU, and APS, as well as a nominated member of Sigma Xi, the Scientific Research Honor Society.
