As Principal AI Product Manager at Microsoft, my focus is on helping customers reimagine what’s possible with Cloud, AI, and virtualization technologies, as we move “From a computer on every desk in every home, to a PC in the Cloud on any device and AI in every service”.

Since joining Microsoft in 2018 through the FSLogix acquisition, I’ve been deeply involved in shaping Windows 365 and its community—starting from its earliest days as a Visio stencil. I’ve contributed to key innovations like Windows 365 Boot, Switch, and the Windows 365 app, and helped incubate the vision behind Windows 365 Link. My mission is to drive innovation across Windows 365, AI, Windows, and Microsoft Intune, while empowering customers through community and technical enablement.

I’m the author of five books, including the newly released Mastering Windows 365, and am currently working on Mastering Microsoft Intune – 2nd Edition, a follow-up to the 20k+ bestseller. I hold seven patents across cloud and virtualization technologies and have won six internal Microsoft Hackathons.

Before Microsoft, I was a Global Black Belt for Azure Virtual Desktop and have been recognized with community honors including Microsoft MVP, Citrix CTP, VMware vExpert, Parallels VIPP and Nvidia NEPA—an achievement held by only five people globally before I joined Microsoft.

I also co-lead the #DAASLIKEAPRO community survey, founded the Microsoft meets Community: Windows 365 event (aka.ms/w365event), and host the Windows in the Cloud video podcast (aka.ms/WindowsintheCloud). I regularly speak at global conferences like Microsoft Ignite, Citrix Synergy, VMworld, and more.

Luigi Fugaro

Luigi Fugaro

Luigi Fugaro's journey into the realm of computer science began in the vibrant world of video games, starting with the Vic 20 and Atari ST1040. This early exposure ignited a fascination with the inner workings of games, particularly the allure of manipulating game code to unlock endless lives and energy. This initial intrigue was the catalyst for Luigi's foray into programming, marking the start of a rich and diverse professional path.

Throughout his distinguished career, Luigi has demonstrated a remarkable versatility, mastering an array of programming languages from the structured precision of Fortran to the modern fluency of Java, Go, Delphi, Visual Basic, and Python. His relationship with JavaScript is a bit more nuanced, viewing it as borderline in the programming language spectrum. Though he doesn’t classify HTML as a programming language per se, Luigi holds a deep respect for its capabilities and applications.

As his career progressed, Luigi ventured beyond the boundaries of coding, exploring the increasingly critical domains of observability, monitoring, and data management. A pivotal chapter in his career unfolded at Red Hat and Redis, where he realized the critical role of application performance for clients, further enriching his professional expertise.

Now, Luigi remains as enthusiastic and driven as ever, constantly seeking new knowledge and challenges. His passion for technology not only leads him to embark on numerous side projects - most of which remain unfinished except for his notable literary contributions - but also keeps him at the forefront of innovation in the ever-evolving field of computer science.

He lives and grew up in Austin, Texas. A father and husband, trying to learn to balance his natural nerdiness with family life. He enjoys a good strong dark ale, hoppy IPA, some team-building Artemis, and epic Gloomhaven campaigning.

He has recently dove headfirst into Fedora since IBM bought Redhat, but still secretly wants FreeBSD everywhere. He’s always trying to become a better web technology developer, though he normally just uses bash to get the job done.

After all these years, my personal mission went from changing the world through technology to improving the world, one human interaction at a time. Changing the way people live in the digital age is possible only by addressing the human factor, together with technology.
My proven track record of driving sales involves creating connections, building communities, challenging views, delivering value, and going the extra mile.
As a Cloud Architect and Evangelist, I’ve presented technical and business content to a wide range of different audiences, from executive meetings to large developer conferences, including many online and in-person events, and I was recognized as the “best speaker” multiple times, thanks to a clever mix of storytelling and technology.

Most Active Speakers 2025

Every year, we put together a list of the most active speakers. This list features the top 3% of speakers who have participated in events using Sessionize during the 2025.

The 3% is calculated from the pool of all speakers that have at least one accepted session in year 2025. We don't include inactive speakers or speakers that had no accepted sessions during the year. There are around 39,000 unique accepted speakers this year, the 3% is 1163. Not all of them have their speaker profiles set as public, and we respect that, so the list doesn't show all of them.

The calculation is based on the number of accepted events, that's the main criteria, but to get more refined results we also look at things like multiple sessions per event, sharing a session with a co-speaker and how big the event is. Number of submissions and declined sessions don't affect the list.

Please note that the count of events and sessions in this list does not represent the number of events and sessions from the year 2025. Instead, it shows the number of events and sessions featured on the speaker's public speaker profile; these numbers have nothing to do with the award itself.
