Widely regarded as a thought leader on the futures of work(ers) and the politics of digital technology, Dr Christina J. Colclough is an advocate for the workers’ voice and for strong, quality public services. She founded the Why Not Lab with the aim to reshape the current digitalisation trajectory in order to protect human rights, freedoms and autonomy.

Harold Oehler is the primary author of the Florida Mediation Best Practices Handbook, Florida’s first best practices handbook for mediation. Harold is one of only approximately 140 mediators in the United States to be inducted into the American College of Civil Trial Mediators. He is also a member of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals. Mr. Oehler is past Chairman of the Mediation and Arbitration Section of the Hillsborough County Bar Association and serves on the Executive Council of the Florida Bar’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Section. In 2022, Harold received the ADR Section’s MVP Award for his work in engaging mediators, trial lawyers and their clients to improve mediation together. This CLE is part of that ongoing collaborative effort.

Mr. Oehler has sat in every seat in the mediation room during his legal career having worked both as a trial lawyer and as an in-house General Counsel who attended mediations throughout the country in the decision maker’s seat. I have 30 years of experience negotiating cases on behalf of judges in the NYS court system including working in the commercial division (1994-2023). I earned an LLM in International Dispute Resolution at Fordham Law School (2022) and became a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (2022).
