Formo parte de diversos semilleros de investigación como AI & TI, Ciencia de Datos, AI y Ciberseguridad, RedI (Red de Investigación en Ingeniería e Informática) y lidero el Semillero Nexus Community.

Además, participo activamente en proyectos de voluntariado y activismo. Formo parte de Generación Más, la Red de Jóvenes Líderes del Ecuador(RJLE) y Ecuador Joven, donde he trabajado en iniciativas orientadas al desarrollo juvenil, la inclusión social y el liderazgo comunitario. Mi compromiso con el cambio positivo se refleja en mi activismo, a través del cual busco generar impacto en mi entorno y construir una sociedad más justa. He participado en Lider Lab y varios organismos que promueven el liderazgo y el activismo.

En el ámbito técnico, poseo conocimientos sólidos en programación (Python, C++, C#, Java, .Net, Node.js) y en el manejo de software libre y propietario. Además, tengo experiencia en estadística utilizando SPSS y RStudio, así como en sistemas de comunicación, redes avanzadas, bases de datos avanzadas, GIS, seguridad informática, marketing digital, desarrollo web y comunicación digital. Mi interés en la investigación y el aprendizaje continuo me ha llevado a especializarme en áreas como inteligencia artificial y ciberseguridad.

Frank Abe

FRANK ABE is co-editor with Floyd Cheung of a new anthology, THE LITERATURE OF JAPANESE AMERICAN INCARCERATION, (Penguin Classics). He is lead author of a graphic novel, WE HEREBY REFUSE: Japanese American Resistance to Wartime Incarceration (Chin Music Press), and with collaborators Tamiko Nimura, Ross Ishikawa, and Matt Sasaki was named a Finalist in Creative Nonfiction for the Washington State Book Award. He won an American Book Award with Cheung and Greg Robinson as co-editor of JOHN OKADA: The Life & Rediscovered Work of the Author of No-No Boy (University of Washington Press), in which he authored the first-ever biography of Okada and traced the origins of his novel. He is currently developing a new stage adaptation of NO-NO BOY in partnership with Seattle Rep.

Abe wrote, produced, and directed the award-winning PBS documentary CONSCIENCE AND THE CONSTITUTION on the largest organized resistance in the camps, and with writer Frank Chin helped organize the first-ever “Day of Remembrance” in Seattle in 1978. He was an original member of Chin’s Asian American Theater Workshop in San Francisco and studied at the American Conservatory Theater.

Brian Munoz is the Visuals Editor at St. Louis Public Radio.

During his time at STLPR, he has helped shape the station’s digital storytelling initiatives. Those efforts were awarded regional Edward R. Murrow Awards for Digital Excellence and Innovation. In addition, he was named to Current’s inaugural “Rising Stars” — a cohort of young professionals whose ideas and skills are redefining public media.

A passionate advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion in journalism, Munoz mentors emerging journalists through STLPR’s visual journalism internship, Teen Photojournalist Prize and the NPR Next Gen Radio project. Through these initiatives, he is dedicated to breaking barriers and providing opportunities for the next generation of storytellers — particularly in underserved communities.

Marko Rakar (1972) is a Chief executive manager of the consulting company MRAK services ltd headquartered in Zagreb, Croatia.

Rakar has a lifelong experience in working/writing for media as well as dealing with the media. He combines his media knowledge with new technologies and was one of the earliest internet adopters in Croatia. He is a recognized lecturer and consultant the subjects of organization, internet, new media as well as politics and statistics.

Rakar ran or participated as consultant on a number of successful campaigns and races for organizations, parties and independent candidates on presidential, parliament and municipal elections in Europe, Asia and US.

He had worked on projects for various international institutions such as Council of Europe, European Fund for the Balkans, United Nations Development Programme, Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), World Bank, Transparency International, U.S. State Department, Olof Palme International Center, Open Government Partnership and the Croatian Government. He has been for several years member of the jury for the Pollies award of the American Association of Political Consultants and a member of the jury for the World eDemocracy awards.

In his work with governments, law enforcement and corporations he worked as a data scientist and architect of advanced statistical, BI and predictive analytics systems designed to predict customer/supplier behavior, increase process efficiencies, find and eliminate hidden costs and simplify decision making, as well as identify, prevent, and/or disrupt criminal, fraudulent and money laundering activities..

Rakar studied Philosophy and Information sciences, University of Zagreb, speaks English fluently and is regular columnist and author to several blogs, web sites, newspapers and magazines in Croatia and internationally.

He is also recognized by World eGovernment forum as one of the "Top 10 who are changing the world of politics on the internet". Marko Rakar is a past president of EAPC (European association of political consultants), current member of the board of IAPC (International association of political consultants), "School of politics" alumni (by Council of Europe), non-government expert on the subjects of open governance and data transparency, president of Croatian NGO Vjetrenjača (English: Windmill) which is dedicated to bringing transparency and promoting open governance to Croatian and international public. Marko is a member of international Association of Certified Fraud Examiners as well as secretary of Croatian chapter of Association of Certified Fraud Examiners Croatia.

IEEE and Gartner keynote speaker, Renata Loureiro Frade is a PhD Candidate in Information and Communication in Digital Platforms at the University of Aveiro and University of Porto, Portugal. Her research focuses on women in technology communities, digital storytelling, and technofeminism.
Frade has over 20 years of experience as a hybrid professional combining academic research, multiplatform content strategy and production, innovative projects, consulting, and digital ethnography. She is passionate about empowering women to work and become entrepreneurs in IT and STEAM fields, promoting diversity and inclusion.

Attendee in Futures of Entertainment transmedia conference with Dr. Henry Jenkins in MIT MediaLab (2012) and Future of Media conference in Stanford Graduate School of Business at the Stanford University (2016). Artificial Intelligence researcher at the Cátedra Oscar Sala at the University of São Paulo.

As an accomplished author and researcher, Renata Frade has published numerous academic papers and articles on topics related to women in technology, digital storytelling, and technological feminism. She co-edited the book "Technofeminism: Multi and Transdisciplinary Contemporary Views of Women in Technology" (2023) and has presented her research at international conferences.

Frade's work has been recognized with several awards and scholarships, including the Santander Coders 2023 award and a Research Scholarship from the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) for her doctoral studies.

In addition to her academic pursuits, Renata Frade is an active science communicator, frequently contributing articles to media outlets (Digitalks PT, Sapo, Público, Mídia Ninja etc) and speaking at industry events on topics related to women in technology, digital innovation, and transmedia storytelling. She has also led several impactful projects, such as Punch! for Writers, Menino da Terra book app and LitGrilsBr, including developing educational platforms and organizing academic conferences.

Her commitment to staying at the forefront of digital innovation is evident in her pursuit of UX Design Fundamentals specialization from the California Institute of Arts and UX/UI and Interface Design at the University of São Paulo. She's been invited to interviews to digital influencers and press-media such as Público Portuguese newspaper.

Levy Syanseke an Internet access advocate who has made contribution to Zambia’s internet landscape through the Cybercrimes and Security Bills and Act, National AI Strategy and Data protection Act.

Following advocacy work, Levy is the founding president of the Internet Society Zambia Chapter, he has been instrumental in promoting affordable and meaningful internet connectivity so far through policy engagement and education awareness.
In raising awareness and building capacity for policy engagement at local and global level, Levy through the chapter started the Zambia School on Internet Governance (ZambiaSIG).

His dedication to internet governance has led him to serve as an ICANN At-Large Rep for Zambia through the Internet Society Zambia Chapter and to actively participate in Internet Governance Forums at local, regional, and global levels. He also serves as the Global Youth IGF Movement Community Manager.

Beyond his work in internet governance, Levy is a successful fashion entrepreneur with the Ramah Designs Label, focused on bag making. Bhuvana Meenakshi Koteeswaran is a Socio-tech Researcher and founder of Women In Tech collectives, India, she is also Internationally recognised as a Mozillian, Wikimedian, and VRAR/ multidimensional space enthusiast. She is one of the recipients of the ShuttleWorth Flash Grant awards 2021. Bhuvana initiated the Women In Tech community in India to enable more voices of women who are interested in pursuing a career in tech or want to learn tech and to give opportunities for those who lost their careers in tech due to the pandemic. As part of this initiative, she has joined hands with Coko Foundation where the organisation has collaborated to support the members of the community in furthering their careers and interest in advance technologies.
