Jannis is a first-year PhD. student jointly between the Computational Systems Biology group at IBM Research in Zurich and the Machine Learning for Computational Biology group at ETH Zurich. His main Ph.D. topic intersects systems biology and drug discovery using deep learning methods. His current research also involves explainable medical image analysis of ultrasound.

She earned her Ph.D. in Computer Science at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing in Zagreb in 2012. She was involved in several business and research projects in information and computer science fields as well as several ICT COST and Erasmus+ projects.
