Dr. Ankur Bindal is the President and Co-Founder of a Southern California-based real estate group founded in 2020. In this role, he oversees companies involved in residential and commercial real estate investing, holding, development, and management services. Before giving his full attention to this work, he founded an integrative psychiatry practice with locations in two major California cities. He served as its chief executive and president for nearly 10 years, gaining experience that connected healthcare leadership, business operations, and entrepreneurship.

Dr. Bindal built his medical career as a board-certified psychiatrist and sleep specialist. During his years in practice, he cared for patients through traditional treatment methods, including medication management and counseling. He also offered newer treatment options, such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation therapy and intranasal ketamine treatment. His approach focused on helping patients make thoughtful care choices based on their needs, especially when standard treatments did not provide sufficient relief or improvement.

Ankur Bindal became known for his work in brain stimulation, especially Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation. His experience included treating former professional football players, working professionals, physicians, underserved patients, and individuals from different parts of the world. This treatment is a non-invasive outpatient option that uses magnetic pulses to stimulate nerve cells in the brain. It is often used for patients with depression symptoms when antidepressant medications have not worked well enough.

Dr. Ankur received several honors for his healthcare services, leadership, and professional work. He was named a Diamond Circle Provider, a designation reserved for high-volume Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation practices. He also received leadership and corporation awards at a healthcare conference in 2023. Dr. Bindal has contributed beyond clinical practice through committee service, advisory responsibilities, public speaking, and writing. Randy Finch of Sarasota

Randy Finch of Sarasota

Randy Finch of Sarasota is a roofing contractor, business owner, and former Marine whose life reflects service, discipline, and long-term commitment to skilled work. Based in Florida, he has built his career through direct experience, steady effort, and a practical understanding of responsibility. His path includes military service, many years in the roofing field, business leadership, and technical work related to legal disputes. Across each stage of that path, he has remained focused on doing useful work, meeting obligations, and earning trust through actions rather than promises.

Randy Finch spent his early years in the community where he was raised and completed his education before graduating from high school. After that, he chose to enlist in the Marine Corps during Operation Iraqi Freedom and served in frontline combat roles. That kind of service demanded mental toughness, discipline, and the ability to act under pressure. The experience shaped how he viewed duty, teamwork, and sacrifice, and it gave him habits that continued to guide him after he returned to civilian life.

Randy Finch entered the roofing industry after completing military service and began learning the trade through direct, hands-on work. Over approximately 18 years, he developed a broad knowledge of residential and commercial roofing systems by working in real job conditions and gaining experience from the ground up. He became familiar with installation methods, repair work, materials, and structural assessment. Those years gave him a solid base in the field and helped him understand the level of care and consistency required to produce dependable roofing work.

Randy Matthew Finch from Sarasota also benefited from spending years working for established roofing companies before starting his own business. That experience allowed him to see how successful operations depend on more than technical skill alone. He learned how teams are organized, how projects are scheduled, how customer relationships are maintained, and how business decisions affect the quality of work. By observing those processes closely, he developed a broader view of the industry and gained the practical understanding needed to lead others and manage responsibilities well.

Randy Finch eventually decided to build a company based on the experience he had gained over many years in the field. He founded his own roofing business and has led it for 6 years, focusing on reliable service and sound operations. Running a company in this industry requires carefully estimating jobs, managing crews and subcontractors, meeting code requirements, controlling costs, and maintaining customer trust. He has taken on those responsibilities with a steady approach shaped by experience rather than image.

Randy Finch has also earned respect for the depth of his knowledge in matters that go beyond routine roofing projects. He has served as a roofing expert in construction litigation, providing technical analysis and deposition testimony when disputes require informed professional judgment. That type of work calls for careful review of evidence, objective thinking, and the ability to explain findings clearly in formal settings. His involvement in those matters shows that his judgment has been trusted in situations where accuracy and clarity are especially important.

Sarasota native Randy Matthew Finch has received professional recognition that reflects consistent standards in his work. Among those accomplishments is GAF Master Elite certification, a distinction awarded to only a small percentage of roofing contractors in the United States. He has also achieved Gold-level distinction in that program, reflecting strong performance in installation and customer service. These recognitions are meaningful because they point to verified standards rather than self-promotion, and they support the reputation he has built through experience, reliability, and attention to quality.

Randy Finch approaches both work and daily life with values shaped by faith, honesty, and service. As a Christian, he seeks to apply those beliefs in practical ways through his leadership, personal conduct, and interactions with others. He has also remained committed to the wider community by supporting the local sheriff’s department and contributing to Starlink-supported search-and-rescue operations in the county. Taken together, his military service, trade experience, business leadership, and community involvement reflect a life centered on responsibility, humility, and steady contribution.

Salomon Murciano

Salomon Murciano

Salomon Murciano is a Venezuelan-born professional who has established a steady presence in the global apparel and off-price distribution industry. His work centers on connecting international supply with retail demand through practical, reliable methods. He focuses on ensuring that branded merchandise moves efficiently across markets while maintaining strong relationships with partners. His approach reflects consistency, discipline, and a commitment to building long-term value through careful execution and trust.

Salomon began his path in Caracas, where he developed an early curiosity about trade and the movement of goods. He took initial steps by sourcing inventory from China, gaining firsthand exposure to manufacturing systems and supplier relationships. This experience provided him with a clear understanding of how global sourcing operates in real conditions. Over time, he used this knowledge to create a structured approach that supports scalable growth while remaining grounded in practical experience.

Salomon Murciano recognized an opportunity within the off-price market as he gained more insight into supply chain inefficiencies. He observed that excess inventory from brands often remained underutilized, while retailers continued to look for affordable, branded products. By sourcing closeout merchandise and placing it into established retail channels, he was able to address this imbalance. This shift allowed him to expand his operations steadily while strengthening connections with both suppliers and buyers.

Salomon has developed a reputation as a dependable distributor who values clarity and consistency in his work. He has worked with major off-price retailers, helping them access quality merchandise at competitive prices. His understanding of demand cycles allows him to align supply with market needs effectively. He focuses on meeting client expectations while maintaining strong communication, which has helped him build long-term relationships based on reliability and mutual trust.

Murciano operates across key global regions, including Asia, the United States, and Latin America, managing complex logistics and large-scale inventory movement. He remains actively involved in the operational side of the business, including evaluating inventory opportunities, negotiating deals, and overseeing delivery timelines. This hands-on approach keeps him informed and enables him to respond quickly to changing market conditions, ensuring consistent execution across regions.

Salomon Murciano has also expanded his work into real estate, focusing on low-income multifamily housing where he sees long-term value. He applies the same practical mindset used in his distribution work, identifying opportunities that offer stability and meaningful impact. In addition to his business efforts, he contributes to charitable initiatives, including supporting schools, helping fund tuition for children in need, and donating to food programs serving underserved communities.

Adam Adler

Adam Adler

For Adam Adler, building a career has always been a gradual process, one shaped by steady learning, consistent effort, and a commitment to seeing projects through. Now based in Charleston as an entrepreneur and investor, he leads The Adler Fund, a private equity group investing in sustainable development, technology, real estate, and high-growth startups. His trajectory shows how experience across different fields can be combined into a thoughtful long-term vision.

Adam’s earliest foundation came from competitive tennis. As a young player, he trained at the Rick Macci Tennis Academy in South Florida, where structure and repetition were central to daily life. His dedication earned him a scholarship to the University of South Carolina, where he balanced the demands of NCAA athletics with a double major in Sports & Entertainment Management and Business. He graduated with honors in 2007. The expectations placed on him as a student-athlete helped shape his discipline, resilience, and ability to handle pressure, qualities he leaned on heavily in his later ventures.

Entrepreneurship first entered Adam’s life while he was still in college. At USC, he co-founded Ultimate Social Networking Inc. and Ultimate College Model, which became the first digitally native modeling network. These initial projects gave him an understanding of early-stage technology, online engagement, and the challenges of building communities in the digital space. They also sparked his interest in how emerging technologies could reshape traditional industries.

After completing college, Adam transitioned into the biotech space. He gathered a team of molecular scientists, including several who had previously served as biochemists at Merck and Amgen, to launch Fuse Science. The company built a 30k sq. ft. FDA- and cGMP-certified facility in Oxnard, California, which housed its headquarters and lab operations. As CEO, he oversaw the development of a nutrient delivery system that uses sublingual, buccal, and transdermal absorption to bypass digestion and enable faster nutrient uptake than capsules. During the company’s early phase, he self-funded operations, secured valuable intellectual property, and assembled a leadership group with Fortune 25 backgrounds. He then expanded the company’s visibility by partnering with distinguished athletes, including Tiger Woods, Andy Murray, David Ortiz, Jose Bautista, Tyson Chandler, Paul Pierce, Andre Ward, and Paul Rodriguez. With support from Daymond John, Fuse Science scaled rapidly, rising from an approximate valuation of $500k to more than $100M.

Alongside entrepreneurship, Adam built a presence in professional poker. Over the years, he reached several final tables at World Series of Poker events and achieved multiple deep runs in major World Poker Tour tournaments. His appearance at the televised final table of the 2022 WPT Championship demonstrated his ability to make disciplined, strategic decisions under high pressure. His experience in high-stakes cash games sharpened his risk assessment and patience, skills that closely reflect his investment philosophy.

The Adler Fund emerged from Adam’s desire to bring together his interests and experiences across multiple industries. Headquartered in Charleston, the firm invests in AI, real estate development, and emerging companies. As Managing Partner, he remains actively involved in evaluating opportunities, shaping strategies, and supporting founders.

In real estate, he focuses on sustainable development across the Lowcountry, emphasizing environmental responsibility, community value, and thoughtful design. In technology, he backs founders working on meaningful advancements in biotech, cyber, and child-focused education. One such investment is Wyzly, a learn-to-earn app where children earn screen time by completing educational challenges. The idea came from his 7-year-old daughter, Isla, and reflects Adam’s interest in healthier digital habits for families.

Adam’s leadership style is grounded in clarity, involvement, and purpose. Influenced early by observing his father’s success as a day trader, he learned the importance of resilience and disciplined decision-making.

As he looks ahead, Adam plans to continue expanding The Adler Fund’s work across real estate and technology, deepen partnerships with AI-driven companies, and support founders building ventures with long-term value. His focus remains on contributing to Charleston’s growth and helping shape projects that leave a lasting impact.

His family’s agricultural background goes back more than five generations, giving him early experience around grain production, cattle operations, and land management. By observing how the family operation was run, he learned that trust, planning, and strong relationships were important to long-term success. These early lessons later influenced his work in agriculture, business, and land development.

Nate Smith pursued a degree in Agricultural Economics at a university in his home state, where he developed a better understanding of markets, farm operations, and financial planning. His business experience began early, including a truck resale venture he started while still in high school. By age twenty, he was regularly selling refurbished trucks while gaining experience in gravel hauling, farm equipment resale, and residential property purchases. These early efforts helped him build practical judgment and a careful approach to opportunity.

Nathan became responsible for the family farming operation in 1999, when it included about 460 leased acres. Through steady planning and daily management, he helped guide the operation through many years of growth. Over time, the business expanded to more than 30,000 acres of farmland, along with cattle and feed operations. He also supported additional land acquisitions in Montana. His leadership remained connected to the values he learned from family farming, including reliability, persistence, and respect for the land.

Realtor Nathan Smith continued strengthening the agricultural business by focusing on efficiency, financial awareness, and trusted local relationships. During the early 2000s, retiring farmers in the area created opportunities for additional leases and land purchases. He worked to approach those opportunities carefully while maintaining respect for landowners, producers, and community members. He also used market analysis tools and hedge accounts to help manage exposure to changing commodity prices. This approach allowed him to balance expansion with the risks involved in agriculture.

Nathan later moved into real estate development after seeing housing needs connected to regional economic changes around 2011. His development work included residential projects such as townhomes, duplexes, and housing planned for growing communities. Some projects were intended to support seasonal agricultural workers, while others addressed broader local housing demand across several western states. His work also included mountain-area properties, allowing him to use his experience with land, planning, and investment in a different business setting.

Nathan Michael Smith expanded his development responsibilities in 2024 by becoming a managing partner at a real estate development company. In that role, he focuses on reviewing land opportunities, studying economic trends, evaluating financial details, and supporting long-term project planning. His background in farming and land operations gives him a practical view of development decisions. He continues to focus on projects that may offer lasting value while also considering useful community needs, local conditions, and responsible growth.

Nathan Smith Sawyer, ND, remains involved in community service and agricultural organizations beyond his business work. He has served on a hospital foundation board, participated in a local chamber of commerce, and supported wheat grower groups at both state and national levels. His involvement has also included youth and winter sports organizations. Through his continued work in farming, development, and service, he remains focused on steady progress, practical planning, and support for communities connected to agriculture, housing, and future generations.

Mark Adams CRG

Mark Adams is the founder and president of California Receivership Group (CRG), a company that has been revitalizing distressed properties for over 25 years. With a deep commitment to transforming unsafe and neglected buildings, he and his team have rehabilitated 415 properties across California, Tennessee, and Texas, overseeing $62.5 million in rehab loans, all repaid. His work has had a profound economic impact, creating approximately 1,500 jobs and improving communities by restoring properties that were once considered liabilities.

CRG specializes in receivership, a legal process that allows courts to take control of distressed properties to address critical safety concerns, code violations, and neglect. Adams has utilized this legal tool to tackle various challenging property issues, including fire damage, hoarding, abandoned homes, and contamination from hazardous materials. Through receivership, he and his team can secure, clean up, and rehabilitate these properties, returning them to productive use. This process offers a more timely and effective solution for properties that traditional property management approaches have struggled to address.

Adams’s success in California prompted him to expand CRG’s services to other states. In 2019, he launched Texas Receivership Group (TxRG) and Tennessee Receivership Group (TRG), extending the firm’s reach to new communities in need. TxRG has secured two appointments in Dallas, while TRG recently completed its 36th property in Memphis. These expansions reflect his determination to share his expertise with other cities, helping them solve their property problems and restore neighborhoods.

Beyond his work with CRG, Adams has been a driving force in advancing the receivership industry. As a co-founder of the Vacant Property Receivership Consortium (VPRC), a nonprofit organization, he has helped promote receivership as an effective tool for revitalizing vacant and distressed properties. Through VPRC, he has raised awareness about the importance of receivership and advocated for policies that support its use. He has also been a sought-after speaker at various industry conferences, such as the Receivership Roundtable and the Center for Community Progress National Land Bank Network Summit, where he has shared his knowledge with other professionals.

Receiver Mark Adams’ expertise in receivership also gained attention following the 2020 Los Angeles wildfires. After the disaster, he was invited to write an article for Receivership News, a publication of the California Receivers Forum. His article discussed how receivership can be essential in recovering fire-damaged properties. He emphasized the importance of receivership in securing these properties, preventing further damage, and initiating rehabilitation, allowing communities to recover more quickly and safely.

Adams’ journey in the receivership field began in 1999 when he became the first court-appointed receiver under California’s Health and Safety Code. His first case involved remediating unsafe conditions at a 66-unit apartment complex, marking the start of his long and successful career. Since then, he has worked on various properties, including residential buildings, hotels, and commercial spaces, always restoring them to safe, livable conditions.

Adams has earned several prestigious awards, including the Distinguished Entrepreneurial Alumnus Award from Loyola Marymount University. His leadership in the receivership industry and commitment to improving communities have made him a respected figure.

Mark Adams’ work continues to shape the future of receivership and property revitalization. His dedication to transforming distressed properties into valuable community assets has impacted the neighborhoods he serves. As he continues to expand CRG’s reach and advocate for receivership, he remains committed to helping communities overcome the challenges of distressed properties and improve the quality of life for residents.
