I inspire people to embrace the potential of today!

This is what it means to me, broken down word by word.

Inspire - This is the method I trust and believe in. By inspire first (the why), I'm confident people will find instructions after (the how).
People - I don't work with organizations. I work with people! We should listen to hear, not to be able to respond.
To embrace - For you to be fully motivated, I want you to drive your practice from within. For your own reasons. That's why it's important that you embrace.
The potential - This could be so many things! Productive ways of work, applications, methods and much more. I want you to reach your highest potential and be the best you.
Of today - Whatever potential is available, I want you to be inspired to embrace it. In an evergreen world, everything constantly changes. This keeps me on my toes and keeps you informed on the latest and greatest.

David Rodriguez

I'm David Rodriguez, a Spanish Microsoft Regional Director and Azure Microsoft Most Valuable Professional, living in Tenerife, Canary Islands. On 2011, I co-founded Intelequia, a company focused on helping customers to adopt the cloud model, as well as the TenerifeDev user group.

Over the last years I worked at DNN Corp. (a.k.a. DotNetNuke) as the Cloud Team Lead engineer, building Evoq OnDemand and the new microservices architecture for DNN Platform based products and services. I have authored some open source modules for DNN and Azure available at GitHub, allowing to integrate Azure AD, Redis, Application Insights and many other services in the platform.

You can find me organizing the local user group once or twice per month, mainly talking about cloud related matters, and lately on building intelligent apps and bots with cognitive services, and of course, at the Global Azure Bootcamp in Madrid. I don't miss any Microsoft Inspire conference edition, so if you plan to go there we can meet and talk with a cup of coffee. BTW, if you come to the island, I will be happy to show you the best "guachinches" on Tenerife, only local people know the best ones.

More recently, he recorded a YouTube series where he live-coded a fully asynchronous chat-like TCP/IP protocol using modern .NET pipelines and channels.

Microsoft MVPs

Microsoft Most Valuable Professionals (MVPs) are recognized experts in their respective technical communities who actively share their knowledge and expertise with others. The MVP award is given to individuals who have made significant contributions to the Microsoft community through their involvement in technical forums, user groups, conferences, and other events. As a result, many MVPs are sought after as speakers at industry events, sharing their knowledge and insights with others.

When an MVP adds their award to their speaker profile, it can serve as a powerful endorsement of their expertise and credibility. Event organizers and attendees alike recognize the MVP award as a symbol of excellence in the field of Microsoft technology, and are more likely to view MVP speakers as authorities on the subject matter they are presenting. This can help MVPs secure speaking engagements, as well as increase their visibility and recognition within the community.

In addition to the benefits for the MVPs themselves, including the ability to network with other experts and gain exposure for their work, the community as a whole can benefit from the contributions of MVP speakers. By sharing their knowledge and insights with others, MVPs help to elevate the level of expertise and understanding within the Microsoft community, ultimately leading to better products and services for everyone.
