Ian Lobas

Ian Lobas

Ian Lobas is one of the most compelling voices in leadership transformation today. A keynote speaker, executive coach and serial entrepreneur with 22 years of experience, Ian has spent his career doing what most coaches never attempt — going beneath the surface to find and permanently remove what is actually holding high performing leaders back.
Ian works with founders and senior executives who have built real success on the outside but are privately carrying something heavy on the inside. The self sabotage that shows up right when momentum builds. The past programming and limiting beliefs installed long before they ever built anything. The internal restrictions and constraints that have quietly capped what they allow themselves to achieve. The silent suffering that no title, achievement or revenue milestone ever touches.
His message is simple and uncompromising. The gap between where you are and where you know you are capable of being is not a strategy problem. It is an identity problem. And until you address it at the root, nothing on the surface changes for long.
Ian's keynotes and workshops are unlike anything most audiences have experienced. Formulaic, measurable and built for permanent behavior change — not motivational spikes that wear off by Monday morning. He works across the full landscape of a leader's life — self, relationships, family, career and community — using a diagnostic process that identifies the specific internal patterns stalling performance and a precise, measurable framework for removing them permanently.
The results speak for themselves. Ian has coached 1,000+ leaders across six continents. Delivered 28 keynotes to audiences at corporate summits, executive conferences, military and government programs and national leadership events worldwide. Facilitated high intensity retreats that have produced documented, lasting transformation — one corporate retreat returned sevenfold on investment. His podcast grew to Apple Podcasts Top 1% in personal development within six months of launch.
Ian founded The Irreplaceable Leader, a global leadership development brand built on one foundational truth — your business grows to the extent that you do. That truth drives every keynote, every coaching engagement and every retreat he delivers.
As a serial entrepreneur Ian has founded and scaled 16 companies, served as fractional CEO and advisor across 25+ organizations and coached hundreds of founders through the messy, vulnerable and ultimately transformational work of building something that matters while becoming someone worth following.
Ian Lobas is based in Maryland and works with leaders globally. He is available for keynote speaking, corporate retreats, executive workshops and private coaching engagements.
Empowering leaders to live more courageously.

Most leaders respond to AI the way untrained civilians respond to fire: they panic, they freeze, or they run the wrong way. I teach them to do what firefighters do... run towards it, trained, prepared and in control.

I've spent 20 years responding to wildfires across Australia and 25 years dominating digital marketing. That combination isn't accidental. It's the lens through which I help organisations navigate the biggest disruption of our lifetime: the AI revolution.

Crisis management isn't theory for me. It's Tuesday.

I've responded to hundreds of wildfires and emergencies. I've also generated over 100 million website visitors, helped create more than $1 billion in sales for clients, and spoken at conferences in 54+ countries since 2009. The principles are the same in both worlds: clarity under pressure, decisive action and adapting faster than the fire spreads.

What I speak about: AI adoption, change leadership and building organisations that thrive, not just survive, in the era of artificial intelligence. My keynotes blend real operational firefighting stories with practical AI strategy that audiences can implement immediately.

Bestselling author of Run Towards the Flames: the philosophy & AI Powered Profits: the playbook

My approach: Forward-thinking but deeply skeptical. I question the hype, test what works and deliver strategies earned through real wins and real losses not social media theatre.
