A graduate of IIT Bombay's Industrial Design Centre with a foundation in Mechanical Engineering, Raj has spent three decades working across domains - critical care medical devices, off-grid solar systems, vending machines, neonatal incubators - with electronics and software entirely self-taught along the way. His products have reached over 250,000 people across India.

Today, he is a Professor of Practice at the School of Design & Innovation at R.V. University, Bangalore.
