Ignacio Randazzo

Ignacio Randazzo

Ignacio "Nacho" Agustin Randazzo is a security researcher and embedded systems engineer based in Villa Carlos Paz, Córdoba, Argentina. With 8+ years across ASIC digital design, Linux infrastructure administration, vulnerability research, and embedded development, he works across the entire stack -- from silicon to software to security. He believes in understanding systems from the transistor up, and that breadth is not a lack of focus -- it's the ability to see threats and solutions that specialists miss.

He previously built AI-assisted security audit tooling at Maxwell Security (2024-2025), where he designed reproducible assessment pipelines and automation for vulnerability discovery. Before that, he designed production RTL for multi-million-gate fiber optic ASICs at Marvell Technology and managed Linux infrastructure at UTN's research center (CIII). He has conducted security audits of electronic voting systems, developed embedded Linux drivers for biomedical research hardware, and designed dynamically reconfigurable FPGA communication channels for DSP emulation.

Before the LLM era, he worked on neural networks and studied the underlying mathematics. Now he builds agentic systems with local models, focused on security, trust, and sovereignty. His current project, i.ar, is a self-modifying AI operating environment built in Emacs, hardened in Podman, powered entirely by local LLMs -- no cloud, no telemetry, no backdoors. He built it in 10 days without knowing Emacs Lisp; the AI wrote most of the code, including the parts he couldn't.

He is a strong advocate for free/libre software and self-hosted infrastructure. He spoke at ekoparty 2024 on FPGA-based password hash cracking, demonstrating power efficiency near GPU performance at Arduino-level power draw. He returns in 2026 to talk about what happens when you give an AI agent a terminal and let it modify its own code.

He holds a B.Sc. in Electronic Engineering from UTN (Universidad Tecnológica Nacional), Córdoba, with honors-level GPA (8/10) and specialization in digital design and computer architecture. He is C2 proficient in English (University of Michigan certificate, IICANA). He is an active CTF competitor, bug bounty researcher, and open-source contributor.

I believe the next competitive edge isn’t AI itself, it’s the organisation around it. Feedback loops, governance, and continuous adaptation across people, process, and technology.

My Story
With over two decades in the technology sector, I focus on AI-augmented delivery, platform engineering, and enterprise evolution. As Group Chief AI Officer (CAIO) at Zühlke, I shape the global strategy and service portfolio for AI-Augmented Delivery & Platform, AI integration, platform engineering, and cloud solutions. My work redefines how organizations innovate, adapt, and scale in industries such as finance, insurance, cybersecurity, energy, healthcare, and aerospace.

In a world reshaped by Artificial Intelligence (AI), I believe the key to resilience and competitiveness lies in becoming AI-augmented, AI-enabled, and ultimately AI-native: a new operating model driven by feedback loops, intelligent workflows, and self-learning systems that place customer success at the center. I empower companies to continuously create value by harmonizing people, processes, technology, and AI.

I began my journey at Zühlke more than two decades ago, evolving from software engineer and architect to trusted consultant, and now to my leadership role as Chief AI Officer. My passion for value creation through automation and quality led me from engineering into the DevOps movement and further into the forefront of enterprise transformation.

I organize the monthly DevOps Meetup in Zürich and serve as president of DevOpsDays Zürich, an annual conference within the global DevOps movement. I share my insights via my YouTube channel, with over 500 videos, and through well over 30 blog articles focused on DevOps, architecture, leadership, and transformation.

My commitment to thought leadership and education extends to my role as a lecturer in DevOps leadership, agile methodologies, digital transformation, and enterprise architecture at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. I champion a culture of innovation and agility, helping enterprises evolve into adaptive systems capable of thriving in complex, fast-changing environments.

My work has been recognized through several awards and honors, reflecting my contributions to technology leadership and digital transformation.

Sergio Mahía

Sergio Mahía

I'm Sergio Mahía, a Software Engineer specializing in cybersecurity, with a clear mindset: to truly protect systems, you first have to think like someone trying to break them.

My career began by founding my own web development and security startup, where I went from zero to building a portfolio of over 20 clients in less than a year. In that process, I not only developed solutions but also focused on something I consider critical: protecting users from real-world threats. I worked with advanced techniques such as Web Application Firewalls (WAFs) and continuous auditing, identifying and exploiting vulnerabilities like XSS and SQL Injection to understand and mitigate them at their root.

Currently, I work at KPMG as a Software Engineer and Ethical Hacker, where I tackle complex security challenges in real-world environments. I've designed and developed ambitious projects, from automated vulnerability analyzers to educational platforms for CTF training, always with a practical and results-oriented approach.

I consider myself an ambitious, resourceful person with a great capacity for learning. I enjoy tackling difficult problems, learning from my mistakes, and transforming those errors into robust solutions. I'm also an active communicator on social media and blogs, where I translate complex cybersecurity concepts into accessible ideas, aiming to raise awareness among both businesses and users.

I firmly believe that the best defense against an attacker is to anticipate them. That's why I don't just build secure systems; I constantly test them, pushing their boundaries before others do.
