She has built her career across technology, finance, and consumer goods, always guided by the belief in making a difference in people’s lives. As Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Nolos, she leads strategies that protect families, simplify legal and financial services, and make vital tools more accessible. Beyond her professional responsibilities, she is committed to community involvement, supporting initiatives that strengthen families, promote education, and provide access to essential services.

Born in Beirut and raised in a trilingual household speaking English, French, and Arabic, Nathalie grew up in a culturally diverse environment that helped her connect with people from different backgrounds. This ability to relate to others has been an important part of her success in marketing and communications.

After earning her Bachelor of Business Administration from HEC Montréal, Nathalie began her career in 2004 as Marketing and Communications Manager at Groupe Deschênes. In this role, she learned how to shape a brand’s voice, build its reputation, and ensure marketing strategies supported business objectives.

In 2010, she joined Rogers Communications in Montreal as a Senior Marketing Specialist, working on acquisition and retention campaigns for consumer services. This position strengthened her skills in campaign execution, media planning, and creative storytelling. By 2013, she became Marketing and Digital Manager at Beiersdorf, the company behind Nivea. She was responsible for national advertising campaigns, public relations efforts, and brand ambassador programs, using digital channels to boost brand visibility and awareness in the Canadian market.

In 2015, Nathalie moved into financial services as a Financial Mortgage Advisor at La Capitale, now Beneva. Over the next five years, she guided clients through important financial decisions with honesty and clarity. Her dedication to client care earned her recognition as one of the Top Financial Mortgage Performers for three consecutive years and one of the Top Mortgage Sales Performers for two straight years. She focused on building lasting relationships, ensuring each client felt informed, supported, and confident in their decisions.

In March 2022, Nathalie joined Nolos, a LegalTech and FinTech company based in Montreal, as Vice President of Marketing and Communications. Nathalie oversees brand strategy, positioning, and communications, ensuring that the company’s voice reflects its mission and values. She leads marketing campaigns for services such as digital wills, estate planning, and financial tools, initiatives designed to educate and empower people to protect their families, homes, and assets.

Her approach to leadership is built on giving back and making a positive difference. She believes legal wills and financial planning are essential for protecting loved ones and that these topics should be communicated clearly and without unnecessary complexity. Fluent in English, French, and Arabic, she can connect with Quebec’s diverse communities, helping to share Nolos’s message of accessibility, education, and empowerment.

Nathalie’s career achievements have been recognized at every stage. At La Capitale (now Beneva), she received awards for being among the top performers in financial mortgage sales for two consecutive years and in financial mortgage performance for three consecutive years. She has contributed to national marketing campaigns for major brands such as Nivea and Rogers, blending creativity with measurable results. At Nolos, her leadership has shaped a brand identity based on clarity, trust, and relevance, positioning the company as a leader in accessible legal and financial services for Quebec families.

Outside of her corporate role, Nathalie is actively involved in her community and church, helping people access resources that protect their families and prepare for the future. Randy NG

Randy NG

Randy NG is an operations specialist who develops structured sports programs and manages compliant seafood import operations. Based in Flushing, NY, he combines hands-on experience in event coordination with a detailed understanding of international trade and regulatory standards. His work focuses on creating organized systems and automation frameworks that promote efficiency, clear communication, and reliable results in every area of his professional responsibilities.

He began his professional journey managing alum programming at his alma mater, where he planned and executed large-scale university events such as homecomings, award galas, themed dinners, and fireworks celebrations. These responsibilities gave him experience in logistics, scheduling, stakeholder coordination, and contingency planning. Through these early projects, he learned to manage multiple priorities precisely and build the foundation for process-driven operations that could adapt to change while maintaining consistency.

After his time in higher education, he transitioned into international sales within the health and wellness industry. He focused on market expansion across Asia, where he created regional strategies and tailored product messaging to comply with local regulations and meet customer preferences. This experience gave him a broader perspective on global operations, compliance management, and cross-cultural communication.

Over the years, he has been central in developing and managing event-related programs across multiple facilities. He works with instructors and staff to translate technical concepts into structured, easy-to-understand formats that enhance learning and participation. His approach involves building comprehensive event schedules, communication plans, and operational templates that maintain organization and efficiency. Each plan includes contingency structures to ensure smooth transitions and successful completion of programs under varying conditions.

He manages event operations with attention to fairness, communication, and transparency. By establishing structured leveling systems and integrating performance tracking, he ensures consistency across programs. He also uses digital booking tools, membership management, and scheduling to streamline communication between participants and staff. This combination of technology and structured management supports scalability and reliability.

Automation is a core element of his work. He utilizes tools such as Brevo (formerly Sendinblue), Zapier, Shopify, and Google Workspace to automate tasks like confirmations, reminders, surveys, and follow-up communications. For instance, a Shopify registration may trigger automated emails and updates that guide participants from enrollment to post-event review. This process reduces manual effort and ensures accurate, timely communication.

Beyond event management, he oversees seafood import operations, emphasizing compliance, traceability, and efficiency. His responsibilities include vendor selection, purchase order management, shipment tracking, customs clearance, and final delivery. He specializes in value-added shrimp products such as EZ-Peel, Peeled & Deveined (tail-on and tail-off), and 6×4-lb commercial pack styles. He ensures all products meet strict specifications regarding size, net weight, and packaging consistency.

He maintains detailed traceability records for every shipment, documenting origin and processing history to comply with food safety and import regulations. He collaborates with warehouse teams to manage temperature-controlled logistics and quality checks upon arrival. His processes align with Seafood HACCP and FDA import requirements, resulting in accurate and review-ready documentation for customs. He also works with licensed customs brokers to coordinate smooth shipment clearance and maintain compliance accuracy.

His marketing operations reflect the same structured, process-oriented approach. He manages digital platforms such as Instagram through organized content calendars, consistent branding, and real-time updates from events and shipments. Phil Ledgerwood

Phil Ledgerwood

Phil Ledgerwood’s resumé looks like seven other people’s resumés stitched together. He has baked bagels, guarded Clint Black’s town home, cooked for a gourmet food shop, freed stuck college students from elevators, managed printing plates for packaging, and served as a linguist in the Air Force. He taught himself HTML when the Netscape browser was still a thing, and the rest is history.

Phil is a twenty-year veteran of the software development industry in the Kansas City area. If you’re in the Kansas City area, he is two degrees of separation away from any programmer you know and has probably worked for, at, or with your company.

When the agile movement hit town, Phil knew a good thing when he saw it and became an early adopter of first wave agile practices. He has used these practices to ideate, build, and complete software projects ranging from loan forecasting to routing irrigation trucks to managing pharmacies to predictive lead generation to selling teddy bears. When people ask what vertical his company serves, he says, “Yours.”

Phil has incorporated Lean methodologies into software development just like his father used to do in manufacturing. When he partnered with Travis Dietz to start Integrity Inspired Solutions in 2012, they laid the foundation in Lean to make the custom software development enterprise more humane, predictable, and focused on the success of everyone involved.

A regular speaker at developer, Lean, and Agile conferences, Phil has a passion for taking his company’s ways to other companies whether they create software or not. He loves to see them transform from a collection of interactions riddled with disappointments and broken promises to team-oriented relational companies enjoying newfound trust, joy, efficiency, and success. Several companies from all over the world in all different industries contract Phil to help coach them through their own journeys. He also hosts the successful "Agile Bites" podcast.

When he’s not helping project managers learn predictive metrics or helping developers write customer-focused features, he’s enjoying a wide array of highly geeky hobbies including fantasy and sci-fi novels, gaming, and teaching Filipino stick fighting. His main hobby is making the world a better place for everyone who has to share the planet with him, and the engine for that is love.
