He has been awarded the GPUG All Stars title at the GPUG Summit 2013 in Tampa FL for his contribution to the Dynamics GP community and active participation as a presenter at several events like Convergence and GPUG Summit. Was a Microsoft MVP from 2015 to 2018.

In 2018 Beat started his own consulting business around Dynamics GP, called GP Geek Inc.
